Manistee Bridal

The owner of this business is committing theft and fraud. Please let me explain.
In July of 2019, Tracy H (the owner of the business) came to a garage sale I was having and told me that if I brought my clothing that didn't sell to her bridal shop, Manistee Bridal, she would sell them on consignment on my behalf at a fee of 50%. Later that day, I took 78 pieces of clothing and 9 pairs of shoes to her shop. She met me and accepted my items and explained that I would receive 50% of the sale proceeds of my clothing and I could leave them there for 60 days. At the end of 60 days, I went to her shop to collect my clothing. She told me I could leave my clothing there for another 30 days to see if she could sell more items. On 10/02/19, I contacted her to tell her that since her sister had just passed, I would get back with her in a few days. I went into her shop on 10/23/19 but she was not there. I was told that she was not in and to come back in a few days. I went back into her shop about 10 days later, and Tracy was there with a bandage on her hand and told me she hadn't had a chance to itemize my clothing that she had sold, but to check back with her in a few weeks. I explained to her that I was leaving Manistee and moving to ***. She assured me she would get things ready for me - including my money and my remaining clothes. I texted her 11/23/19 and told her I had moved, and I'd like to come by and pick up a check for the sale of my clothes and either leave the remaining clothes or take them with me. I asked her what would be a good day to stop in. She indicated that she "kept a lot of my clothes for herself." She kept putting me off. Excuses like she had the flu, that she was trying to come up with the cash for my items, she was going to be selling all her inventory and closing etc etc. I finally went into her shop to find out that she had only tagged about 40% of my items so anything being sold would not have a record. She tried to say staff was stealing from her.
