Manitoba ApartmentsRe: Revdex.com Complaint Case # [redacted] The resident sent us a written request on June 14th to be let out of his lease without penalty, which we agreed toI sent him a written response, as he requested, which he never responded toI then received the written complaint from the Better Business Bureau.After reviewing Mr [redacted] complaint through your department I called him to discuss his concernsHe was upset because he had received a lease violation for unauthorized animals, along with a fineHe claimed that he did not have animals in his apartment, and that he should not owe a fineI told him that we have pictures of the animals in his apartment with himHe then agreed to pay the fines.We also discussed the bed bugsWe sent him a notice letting him know that we planned on treating his unitHe claims that he was trying to treat it in houseI told him that he is contractually obligated to let us know if he has bed bugs in his apartmentThese have now spread to the surrounding units, and we have to spend money and time to treat the surrounding units as well.In regards to his claims of raw sewage running throughout the property; in the event that there is a sewage backup, the property immediately calls out a contractor who comes out to resolve the problemWe do not leave raw sewage drying on the grounds.In regards to the broken window; we immediately ordered a new window once we were made aware that it was broken, and his window was boarded up that day.We have never received a report of teenagers running around with guns, or a copy of a police report for a sexual assault.Mr [redacted] is now telling me that he does not want to leave the property, but would like instead to stay and pay out his pet and bed bug feesI have given him two months to pay off the additional chargesWe are also willing to let Mr [redacted] out of his lease without penalty at any timeHe would owe rent up through the day he turns in keys as well as any outstanding balances currently owed and any damages to the unit.Please let me know if there is anything else needed from Manitoba Apartments
