On May 30th I was involved in my first car collision I am years old MPI [ Manitoba Public insurance ] assessed the damage to my car They were quick but very efficient They told me I could have it repaired at any body shop I asked if I could take it to [redacted] They said all the shops they recommend are good I took it to [redacted] All the staff that I talked to in the front office were very polite and informative They assessed two weeks to do repairs They gave me a car to drive until mine was repaired Everything MPI had put down on my claim was done and a couple other thing that [redacted] noticed , and had MPI 's OK to repair No hitches , no problems A Job well done by both Business' involved They earned my satisfaction and recommendation James [redacted] North Kildonan

I was involved in a car accident in January of I was cut off by a semi-trailer which consisted of solid metal frame constructionThe semi-trailer was conducting an illegal turn through a yield turn off to enter a strip mallThe semi-trailer driver was attempting to go through it the wrong way resulting in me slamming into the tractor-trailer at a speed of km/hrImmediately following the accident, I went to [redacted] complaining of severe headaches as well as back pain and the feeling of throwing upI also developed a large bruise on my knee where my knee struck the steering wheel or dash upon impact which later continually inflamed throughout the dayI saw a surgeon regarding his and he advised me that if the pain became unbearable that he would operate to correct the tearA few weeks after the accident I developed an excruciating pain through my left ear and into my tongue that felt like an electric shockI received a compliment of chiropractic treatment from MPI which eventually cut me off stating that there was no medical reason why I should need further treatmentI appealed the decision and was directed to an Internal Review Officer named Al [redacted] When I spoke with Al I could tell through conversation that his intent was to deny me benefits and to make me feel that I was attempting to manipulate the appeal processHe spoke down to me throughout the conversation like I had no right to be even appealing it in the first place and even laughed when I told him about the knee surgeryTo further this point, I appealed the decision on December 5th of I never received a response until the beginning of April of A decision clearly designed to ignore the claimant by making me wait several months and to be ridiculed by it's MPI representativesIgnoring someone who has paid his insurance for years does not seem reasonable to meThe one time I needed the insurance I was treated like a [redacted] so I will now make my story knownThank you for this experience
