On March 1st, I paid $9 for the automated car wash, but the car wash did not work. I called the number on location and left a voicemail. On March 2nd, I received a text message from *** asking for my name and address so a refund could be sent.
On March 9th, I texted back and asked how much longer before I received the refund, but no reply. I'm afraid the company will acquire amnesia, and contacting the Revdex.com seems to achieve results. Although the amount is $9, the business needs to learn to operate based on ethical principles (if they are willing to cheat someone out of $9, they will definitely cheat someone out of $900).
Since I had to spend time submitting this, $25 refund is appropriate.
Business advised Revdex.com:
We received your call regarding this customer complaint. Prior to receiving this complaint letter from the Revdex.com, we did refund Mr *** 9.00$ for his carwash, the amount he paid. We do not feel necessary to pay any amount due to his "inconvenience" of submitting a claim. While he was waiting for our refund to be mailed to him, we communicated to him this was being processed and refunded. This was all done prior to us receiving your letter.
