I fully understand MrB***'s comments and I do agree with them What I don't agree with is the manner in which he deceived both myself and my ex-wife Both my ex-wife and myself don't have the extra income we had while we were together and the fact that MrB [redacted] told both of us that we needed to put 25% down is poor business ethics My es-wife and myself were going to split this 25% so we could have some money left over for other obligations, but MrB [redacted] received 50% of the lien My realtor wanted a letter showing that we paid this to try and sell our house, but MrB [redacted] denied him that letter I feel he denied the letter because he just wanted to make things difficult for us MrB [redacted] is simply another bottom feeding collector that will do or say anything to get paid My ex and myself are and will be paying this lien, but MrB [redacted] wants to intimidate and pretend that he has our best interest in mind, but he really has his own the state of Ohio should really look at who they have handling their collections and think about how it reflects on them We were supposed to put 25% down total and then pay a monthly plan, but MrB [redacted] convinced my ex-wife that we both needed to put 25% down One might think that a company that represents the state of Ohio would have better business ethics MrB [redacted] came up with a standard response in his email and at no time explained why he collected from both of us and then hung up on me when I tried to let him know that we couldn't do that financially and that is not what we originally agreed to This complaint will fall on deaf ears not unlike several others that I am sure have been filed It is a shame that individuals like this represent anyone let alone the State of Ohio I want 25% of the monies back that MrB [redacted] collected due to poor business practices

We have located this person on our system, and they should reference account number 549*** That being said, the account rep assigned to this account is female (Marsha S***) The complaint says she spoke with a male – we have multiple male employees at our office It also is not clear in reading her complaint that she was actually talking with our office as opposed to the Attorney General’s office We would need the name of the person she contends she spoke with in order to further investigate this matter.Sincerely, Robert JM*** Robert JM***Mann & Carducci Co., L.P.ADublin Rd., Suite 212-AColumbus, Ohio 43215Phone: 614/255-5710Main: 614/255-5700Fax: 614/255-

I fully understand Mr. B[redacted]'s comments and I do agree with them.  What I don't agree with is the manner in which he deceived both myself and my ex-wife.  Both my ex-wife and myself don't have the extra income we had while we were together and the fact that Mr. B[redacted] told both of us that we needed to put 25% down is poor business ethics.  My es-wife and myself were going to split this 25% so we could have some money left over for other obligations, but Mr. B[redacted] received 50% of the lien.  My realtor wanted a letter showing that we paid this to try and sell our house, but Mr. B[redacted] denied him that letter.  I feel he denied the letter because he just wanted to make things difficult for us.  Mr. B[redacted] is simply another bottom feeding collector that will do or say anything to get paid.  My ex and myself are and will be paying this lien, but Mr. B[redacted] wants to intimidate and pretend that he has our best interest in mind, but he really has his own.  the state of Ohio should really look at who they have handling their collections and think about how it reflects on them.  We were supposed to put 25% down total and then pay a monthly plan, but Mr. B[redacted] convinced my ex-wife that we both needed to put 25% down.  One might think that a company that represents the state of Ohio would have better business ethics.  Mr. B[redacted] came up with a standard response in his email and at no time explained why he collected from both of us and then hung up on me when I tried to let him know that we couldn't do that financially and that is not what we originally agreed to.  This complaint will fall on deaf ears not unlike several others that I am sure have been filed.  It is a shame that individuals like this represent anyone let alone the State of Ohio.  I want 25% of the monies back that Mr. B[redacted] collected due to poor business practices.

Mr. [redacted] is NOT a customer or client of Mann & Carducci Co., LPA ("M&C"), and never has been. Our office serves as Special Counsel to the Ohio Attorney General, pursuant to which we pursue revenue recovery on behalf of the State of Ohio. Our office was assigned to collect on a tax lien...

that exists jointly against Mr. [redacted] and his ex-wife. They are each separately liable for the balance, and they each need to make their own arrangement for resolution. Under Ohio law we can collect against either one of them or both of them until the existing balance is paid in full. We are not required to only pursue 1/2 against Mr. [redacted], and 1/2 against his ex-wife, we could legally pursue either one for the entire balance, but we have attempted to work with both, and each must make their own separate arrangement in order to avoid further collection activity. Mr. [redacted] reaching a payment plan with our office does not extend to his ex-wife or relieve her of the liability she has on the tax lien, anymore than her reaching a payment plan with our office would relive Mr. [redacted] of his obligations. This is a joint debt for which they both are liable, and each must work out arrangements with our office. Even though this is not a complaint from a customer or client, but rather from an adverse party on an existing tax lien, we have responded to the address the issues raised.

clear in reading her complaint that she was actually talking with our office as opposed to the Attorney General’s office.  We would need the name of the person she contends she spoke with in order to further investigate this matter.Sincerely, Robert J.
