Manny G Motors does pay $for referralsHowever common sense dictates you would only pay the referral if the person being referred buys a carIn this case [redacted] did refer a potential customer to Manny G MotorsUnfortunately this person did not purchase a carThe back of our card does say $Referrals, it doesn't say $OpportunitiesOtherwise a person could make a living just sending his friends and family members to look at cars

I have been advised by the attorney general to continue to file complaints regarding the deposit which this dealership has illegally keptI also have text messages from the *** *** advising me to come into the dealership for the refund of my moneyThis dealership is dishonest and I have a right to decline to do business with anyone dishonest about doing engine work on a vehicle in one day.I would like my full refund in the amount of $mailed out to the address provided on the complaint being filed.?

Statement of factsMrs *** originally purchased a Lexus from usA week later she called stating the car was acting up and we asked her to bring it in to be looked at which she never diddays later she called saying the car broke down and we had it towed to the dealershipThe
battery had failedWe fixed the car and towed it at no chargeHer and her husband came in requesting a refund of their down paymentWhen we explained we would have to deduct towing cost they became very angry in front of customers and even threatened one of our employeesWe calmed them down and they said they wanted a different carThey choose a charger which was more expensive so we asked for an additional $downMrs *** signed a contract stating payments would be $bi weeklyShe fell behind in her payments recently and as per company policy once she fell behind more that $with no communication we sent out a repossession orderonce we picked up the vehicle the customer all of a sudden started to contact usCustomer came into the dealership with her husband we offered to reinstate the loan if they bring the balance current and allow for an installation of a gps unit since it was difficult to reach themWe even waived the repo feeThe charger did have a warranty for months miles that only covered the powertrainThe repairs she mentioned are not covered under powertrainWe have video of the customer and her husband threatening to break the dealership windows and to burn down the storeWith those threats and the customer's inability to bring the account current we proceeded with the repo order. It is unfortunate to have to repo a car but when the customer is behind with no communication we have no choiceWe have documents including text messages, video recordings and signed statements and contracts to back up all of our statement of facts listed above

To whom it may concern: I apologize if you had a bad experience at Manny G Motors, that was not our intention. In response to Ms. [redacted] complaint, to start with Ms. [redacted] bought us an estimate for another vehicle, not the vehicle we sold her. It was a completely different make, model and year then the car she was sold.  We took the vehicle she had and proceeded to have our mechanic check it out and only found that the brakes and the battery were the only issue the car had. We did not sell her the car with the brakes bad yet still repaired them even though she put a total of 627 miles on the vehicle in 4 days and refused to bring the vehicle in for repair, even after countless request.  This type of work typically takes about 2 hours to do. But because Miss. [redacted] could not wait for her vehicle repair, as a courtesy, we provided her a loaner that was supposed to be brought back as soon as the repairs were complete, which in this case was the same day. At this point, Miss [redacted] ceased communication with us and we did not hear from her or get our loaner car back for 12 days.  Miss. [redacted] chose not to bring our loaner vehicle back and also put a total of 937 miles on it. According to the agreements she signed to take both vehicles,  she would have to pay for excessive wear and tear, a daily fee (if our vehicle was not returned as agreed, in this case it was not), loss of value, detailing fee and for mileage. All of which we did NOT charge her. To[redacted] & Revdex.com Corporate Office: This correspondence is in response to a letter we received on 02/16/2015 in reference to a complaint received by your office on 02/11/2015, ID# [redacted] from [redacted]. We, at Manny G Motors, sold Ms. [redacted] a 2005 Toyota Camry on Thursday, January...

29", 2015. Ms. [redacted] contacted our dealership after not being able to finance a vehicle at another dealership. As a courtesy to Ms. [redacted] we picked her up from another dealership and brought her here to our dealership, located at [redacted]. She expressed that she was in dire need of a reliable vehicle because of her work and school obligations. She also made it clear to our staff that she only had $500 cash for a down payment. We proceeded to obtain financing for her from several sources in the car of her choice, a 2005 Toyota Camry VIN:[redacted], mileage 124,000. Because Ms. [redacted] did not have enough money to completely cover the total down payment and the tax, title and license — we delivered the vehicle after having her sign a Conditional Delivery Agreement based on her expected Federal Income tax return. She agreed to pay the remainder on February 14" 2015. We had her sign this Conditional Delivery Agreement, as it was late in the evening and needed more time to finalize the contract and because she would not have the remainder of her total down until February 14th, 2015. The Conditional Delivery Agreement specifically states that she would need to return the vehicle within twenty four hours of notification from us, the seller. She stated that she would return the next day to complete her contractual paperwork. At this time, Ms. [redacted] happily signed the documentation, made the partial down payment and obtained full coverage insurance for her vehicle as per the requirement of the bank. The following day we day we waited for Ms. [redacted] to no avail. We attempted to contact her via phone on several occasions and left messages on her voice mail and received no response until, Friday January 30' at 4:51PM via a text to her sales representative [redacted]. She stated that she would not be available but would come by tomorrow. We tried to be understanding and said okay. She stated she would come Saturday, January 31" 2015. On Saturday, at 9:43 am she contacted her salesperson again to ask the price on another vehicle on our lot. At which time, she notified us she would not be able to return the vehicle at the agreed time. She also notified us that the brakes and rotors where bad on the car. Ultimately, Ms. [redacted] did not return the car until Monday, February 2nd at which time we gave her a loaner vehicle also as a courtesy while we made repairs to the vehicle; Mitsubishi Endeavor 2007 VIN #:[redacted], mileage 185,170. The agreement was that she would return the vehicle as soon as the repairs to her vehicle were completed and within 24 hours of notification. She also signed another Conditional Delivery Agreement for this vehicle as well. We proceeded to repair the Camry. The repairs that we did included a complete front brake job which included resurfacing the front brake rotors, replacing the front brake pads. We also replaced the battery and the abs sensors. This job was done completed February 3rd 2015. On February 4th we notified Ms. [redacted] that the car was ready via text and calls to her cell — to no avail. We did not hear back from Ms. [redacted] until February 9th, at which time she asked that we stop calling and texting her because she was busy. We even offered to bring the vehicle to her to swap one vehicle for another, also to no avail. We had a pending deal on the vehicle that we gave her as a loaner. She took several days to respond and finally right as we were closing on Saturday, February 14th, late in the evening she appeared and notified us that she would not be making good on the agreement to pay the remainder of her down payment and that she has purchased another vehicle from another dealer. The Camry had 124,000 miles when she took ownership of the vehicle she returned it with 124,627 miles - for a total of 627 miles used by Ms. [redacted].The Endeavor had 185,170 miles upon inception and was returned with 186,386 — for a total of 937 miles. She signed several agreements and left a deposit with the intention to purchase the car. She also signed the Conditional Delivery Agreement when taking each of these cars, that specifically states that she return the car in like condition and once the vehicle she agreed to purchase was completely repaired. She also agreed to pay the balance due on her down payment of $2,599 on February 14th 2015. At this point we had determined that we not only lost a deal that we had pending on the loaner vehicle, we also had 1,554 miles on the Mitsubishi Endeavor and Toyota Camry combined. We have made every reasonable accommodation and courtesy for Ms. [redacted].I am including documentation that shows the Condition Delivery Agreement that we made with her, agreement to pay the deferred down payment, repair bills/records, approvals from the bank and text communication between the staff at Manny G Motors and Ms. [redacted]. Also all documentation supplied by Miss. [redacted] and all documents signed by her.We have made many reasonable effort to resolve the issue with Ms. [redacted] to insure that she would walk away a happy customer. We take a lot of pride in helping people get into a dependable and reliable vehicle regardless of their credit situation. We make every reasonable effort to make all our customers, satisfied customers. We strive to maintain a solid reputation so that we may continue to serve the community we intend to continue to do business in for a very long time.If you have any questions, in relation to this issue we would be more then happy to address any concerns or questions you have. Manny G Motors does pay $100 for referrals. However common sense dictates you would only pay the referral if the person being referred buys a car. In this case [redacted] did refer a potential customer to Manny G Motors. Unfortunately this person did not purchase a car. The back of our card does say...

$100 Referrals, it doesn't say $100 Opportunities. Otherwise a person could make a living just sending his friends and family members to look at cars.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I am rejecting this response because: Manny G Motors has given false misrepresentation to the Revdex.com on multiple occasions. I need a physical address to print out the text messages from both [redacted] the Sales Associate and [redacted] advising me on the 13 February 2015, the day before Valentine's Day which fell on a Friday. Both parties involved knew that I worked 8 AM - 8 PM on Friday's. I then went over to the dealership after work and [redacted] blew me off and told [redacted] to tell me that he did not have time for me after I worked a twelve hour shift. I then left the dealership and have been filing complaints with the Revdex.com since then. I also have the receipt of the deposit and my paperwork on the car I was interested in until I paid for a new car inspection on the vehicle and found out engine work needed to be completed as well as several other issues that would not be completed in one day.
Regards,
[redacted]
