This business’s response is not accurate and misstates key facts.First, this move was not a “FULL PACK” by client.”  We agreed to pack all personal items, but all large and/or fragile items, including furniture, lamps, and bottles of wine and liquor, were packed by the movers, as stipulated in our agreement.  These items were among those broken and damaged.  It is a clear misstatement to suggest that any of the items we packed ourselves were broken.  The broken/damaged items were wrapped, packed, and moved solely by the movers.Several walls of our new home were damaged by the movers.  One of the dents made in a stairway wall was discussed and resolved with a $100 reduction of the cost of the move.  All others wall damage was not resolved.Perhaps most troubling about this moving experience is the defensive (and a bit offensive) response from the movers upon learning about our claims of damage.  A detailed e-mail, including photographs of all damaged items, was sent to the movers.  They claim they did not receive that e-mail.  Even if they did not receive the e-mail, upon learning of the issues with our move, the movers’ only response was righteous indignation, as well as angry e-mails accusing us of being ungrateful for all he had done for us, and how our complaint caused damage to his business.  The mover told us that he was disappointed in us for not repeatedly attempting to contact him about our complaints.  At no time did the business offer to compensate us for our losses in any way, or do anything to resolve the issues.  Clearly, we did not wish to harm his business, but that concern seemed to be much more important to him than dealing with our claims.

To whom it may concern,This is the first time we get any complaint from this client.Since they moved we never received an email or a call regarding any matter. In fact, this people received excellent attention and service and to our knowledge were extremely satisfied. We can provide email...

communication with them before the move showing our quick respond to their emails.Packing - this move was a FULL PACK by client. In order to save money they used unprofessional boxes that were not the right fit for the items packed. If we packed something for them it was in one of the boxes they insisted we use and wed let them know they can't pack certain items in it. They simply did not listen to us.Wall marks - it is not the first time that clients find marks on the wall after they unpack. We per their instructions did not unpack even one box but simply placed it in a designated area given by them. Hving said that the client brought up the marks the day of the move. The building super gave a price of $100 to painted it and so we immediatelly took off $100 from the clients bill per his request. We are totally shocked by getting this complained.

Review: During our move with Manor Moving, furniture and walls were damaged in our new home. We emailed Zvi M[redacted] on 9/*/15 and to date have not received a response. Manor Moving was highly recommended to us by our realtor and we were assured by Zvi that there best staff would be assigned to our move. We had a complex move with some items being moved from our apartment and some items being moved from a storage facility which resulted in a 2 day move. The move from the storage unit was completed without any issues and I could tell the movers were experienced. We encountered the most problems with the move into our new home. Instead of the team leader being with the movers at our new home, he was with the movers moving items out of the storage unit. It was very clear that the movers at our new home were not experienced and needed someone to guide them. Overall we did not have a good move and several of our items/walls were damaged.

Here is a list of the damages:

1) On August [redacted], while unpacking a large box packed by Manor movers, we discovered that a circular glass tray table on a wrought iron lamp was smashed, crushed by other items put inside the box to fill space with the lamp. This glass shelf cannot be replaced as a part of the lamp, because it was built into the lamp itself. We should be compensated for this item. Photos available and already emailed to Zvi M[redacted] on 9/*/15 with no response..

2) There are big dark marks on the walls under the stairs where the movers placed boxes. We found the marks after unpacking the boxes and we are unable to remove the marks. The area will need to be repainted. This is in addition to the wall damage on the staircase wall that we were already compensated for. Photos are available.

3) A piece of wood framing is missing and needs to be replaced on our entertainment center. A photo is available

4) We thought we were being nice and plugged in a surge protector with additional USB ports for the movers to charge their cell phones. The surge protector and one cable were missing after the move.Desired Settlement: We expect a response and compensation for the furniture damage, additional wall damage and items missing.

1) Although not identical, the following link shows a lamp similar to the one damaged[redacted] ($219.00 - Cal Lighting - Iron Floor Lamp With Wood Tray Table - BO-2095FL)

2) Cost to be determined

3) Cost to be determined

4) Here are links to the items: [redacted] (purchase price $15.12) and

[redacted] (purchase price $2.80)
