Review: Absolutely the WORST PLACE WE HAVE EVER STAYED!!!!! The staff has NO CLUE what they are doing! They had everything from my name wrong to my email address! They charged me $25 a night to make up a pull out couch for my two children that was a single mattress! We stayed for a weekend in August for a family wedding which we were occupying much of the hotel, EVERYONE was FURIOUS. We had NO AIR-CONDITIONING in our room for the entire weekend. Our room registered 89 degrees all weekend! The actual door [redacted] of our room fell off! The ceiling was leaking!!!! The elevator was broken, so we had to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs! The hotel should be SHUT DOWN! IT IS A HEALTH HAZARD TO HAVE PEOPLE STAYING IN 90 DEGREE HEAT. THE KITCHEN SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN AS WELL, IT IS NOT SAFE TO SERVE FOOD IN THAT KIND OF HEAT! It is NOT an historical landmark by any means. When we tried to to speak with the Manager, he only would respond that he had to talk to the owner, at which we could not get any contact information for. The Bride was sweating and hot to get ready for her special day and no one cared! My husband and I travel 5 times a year and he travels weekly, this was BY FAR THE WORST HOTEL WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN. It's over priced and HORRIBLY run. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND AGGRAVATION and DO NOT STAY HERE!

Review: We made our New Year trip to [redacted] and stayed in a suite in this top-rated hotel.I accidently made a mistake by leaving my new booties in the hotel, and the manager kindly notified me on the date of our departure (Jan 4), and offered to ship them back to us (at our own cost) since we already returned to Maryland.I followed up with the hotel the following week, [redacted], the receptionist, said they will ship it asap, and I showed my gratitude for taking care of this.A week later, Monday, I haven't heard back/received any shipments, and so I called again. She said they will do it tomorrow morining. And then for the next two weeks, my husband and I gave the hotel calls on Monday and Friday, and she promised every time, "This is our priority tomorrow morning" "We will do it the first thing tomorrow morning".We wait and wait until the last week of Jan. I called again, and I was very disappointed to hear the same thing again, I slighly complained "Well, it's been three weeks since we first spoke of the shipping.." and [redacted] reacted very angrily "What do you want me to do?! This is not something that.. Well, I told you, we will do it asap." That Friday, I called again. [redacted] finally told me that [redacted] had picked it up. I asked if she has a tracking number, she said she didn't.While I felt that not getting a tracking number (in [redacted] case, they will automatically give the sender one) is very responsible, there was nothing I was able to do. However, I was VERY HAPPY still! And I thought finally, this thing was going to an end.At the end of the first week in February, I still didn't receive anything. I called the hotel on Friday again. Another receptionist picked up the phone, heard my story, sounded sorry, and promised me she will leave this to the morning shift person ([redacted]) and let her get back to me. Next day, I didn't hear back from them, and I called again in the afternoon. [redacted] picked up the phone and said she will get back to me shortly. However, she didn't. I called on Sunday, she said they had sent people to [redacted] for investigation and will get back to me in the afternoon.No, she still did not.I called on Monday Feb 9 afternoon again, she said there's something wrong with [redacted], and they just sorted it out. I asked if she has a tracking numebr this time, she finally gave me one.I checked it, the pick up date and time was: Feb 9, 11am.I was very angry. It's really hard to understand why the staff ignored this for a month, especially when we have been following up with them actively. And why they keep lying to us while ignoring. I asked to speak with her manager but it was never successful. There's nowhere I can turn to but here with Revdex.com. We are feeling deeply frustrated, cheated, and angry. We believe this is nothing compatible with the hotel itself. We really enjoyed our stay, but we would never go again. I would appreciate your help in solving this. Many thanks in advance!Desired Settlement: 1. Apology from [redacted] for not being responsive, responsible, and polite;2. Improved staff training;3. Financial compensation for all the time and energy we put into this ($1 for each of us every day between Jan 9 (the date of promise) and Feb 9 ( the date [redacted] picked up the shipments)
