I am responding to complaint ID #***I am both puzzled and surprised to get your letter containing Mrs***’s complaintWhile it is true that we have been storing the trailer here for several months, it is not due to the trailer not being usableWe have asked the ***’s to pick
up their trailer, and as you can see by Mrs***’s letter she acknowledges that fact
We have resolved all of the warranty issues except oneThe one issue that is remaining is the entry door holderThe entry door holder was installed at the factory in the wrong positionIt was mounted too close to the entry doorI have included a picture of door holder with a door hold, that we installed so that the customer could use the trailerWe have ordered the metal necessary to complete the repairs from Jayco four times now, each time getting the wrong metalSince the customer has not ask for help I was unaware of the situationI have review the current part on order from Jayco and it appears to be the correct partAccording to Jayco’s website the metal is shipping on 11-04-We should see it in to days

We have spo[redacted] to Mrs. [redacted] and Mr. [redacted].  They have contact information for [redacted] the service manager if they ever have need again.  She is firm on not wanting to pick up the unit and use it while we awaited the parts to make the repairs.  She feels that the 6 miles across town is an inconvenience and that taking the trailer and using it with this inconvenience is not worth it.  We would be more than happy to pick it up and deliver it that short distance so that she could use it.

Review: On May 23rd we went to Manteca Trailer and motor home on [redacted] in Manteca to get an estimate on getting a tow package hooked up to our vehicle to tow it behind our motor home. We met with [redacted] the service manager. We had already bought all the necessary parts and brought them there so [redacted] could see everything we had. He checked it all out and said it looked like everything was there. I showed him the Wiring harness and told him there was no splicing of wires everything was Plug and Play. I explained to [redacted] I have a brand new 2014 car and I do not want the wires splice. Everything I had bought was plug and play NO SPLICING OF WIRES. [redacted] gave us a Quote OF $980.00 TO $1080.00 and said it would be a 7 hour job. So we agreed to bring in the car and the motor home together so they could make sure everything hooked up right, on Tuesday May 27th and pick it up on Thursday May 29th. [redacted] called us on Thursday and told us we needed a new braking system and it would cost $1600.00. We agreed to let him order it.He said he could overnight it and it would be here on Friday. So on Friday I called [redacted] to see if the part was in and it was.So we went there on Friday and the braking system was still in the box and not installed. [redacted] was going to let us take it . Then I noticed the wires were hanging from the car to the motor home. There were two loose ends that would drag on the ground. I told [redacted] so then he said he would order that part. Well 7 days later after one thing or another, Well thru all of this they spliced the wires and did not use the parts that we already paid for and MY NEW CAR NOW has spliced wires. The total was $2916.12 I paid $1000.00 cash and wrote a check for the rest which I stopped payment on after talking to my bank. I have faxed a letter to the owner [redacted] on Friday June 6th with all of the problems that happened especially the spliced wires. Today is June 10th and we have not heard anything form him.Desired Settlement: I know that they cannot FIX THE SPLICED WIRES, but I would like some kind of monetary settlement to accomodate for all of the problems that ensued, I was without a car for 9 days instead of the 1 day as promised, My new car now has SPLICED WIRES and that is not acceptable. I have given Mr [redacted] time to respond but he has failed to do so. I was hoping we could discuss what happened and handle this differently. I waited 4 days before I contacted the Revdex.com

Review: I purchased a cruiser from Manteca trailer and motor home (in Manteca Ca).All credit reports obtained received and or reviewed by [redacted] Albertson (finance) [redacted] (manager) which he obtained himself. [redacted] made an informed decision based on the above.He informed me that my credit score had dropped 10 points due to prior credit inquiries.He informed me of 2 very small bills and 2 around 1000.00 which gave a fica of “627”.He stated that this was not a problem in my obtaining a loan.He advised me on how to fix it so my credit rating would greatly improve by paying the 2 minor ones first then calling the other agencies to make an offer to pay them at a lower amount.[redacted] stated that my applying 5,000.00 down payment was sufficient.Stated my only problem was I would be paying a higher monthly payment and high rode of interest.The loan would be solely in my name and after 1 year I could refinance, that the one year sacrifice I would be making would be in my best interest. Even though I know it was unlikely correct. At that time [redacted] made an informed decision made me an offer which I agreed and accepted. We all agreed to the above.Desired Settlement: I’ve complied with all of their instructions.I’m still trying in good faith to have them honor our contract.Thank you [redacted].Please refer to all calls for information

Good Morning Revdex.com,I am confused. Please communicate with Ms. [redacted] on my behalf and I will research this. She came in with a credit situation and we have attempted to help her establish a loan. We have been unsuccessful and have notified her by registered letter within the ten day period required by law. The complaint is not specific as to what she is unhappy about. We will of course handle what ever her issue is.[redacted]

There was no confusion. They are not being honest.

Review: We purchased a brand new trailer from this establishment and were told to take it and try it out and bring it back for the under warranty repairs as there will be some issues. Four months later and we have only used it twice we are still not able to pick up and use our trailer. We were told that we could come pick it up and use it while awaiting repair parts and issues. Always promised next week to no avail. I have been making payments on a Brand New Trailer that we cannot even Enjoy! I feel trapped into buying this Trailer and I would love to be refunded our monies and shop elsewhere.Desired Settlement: We would like to be taken off of the contract and refunded our monies.
