On 2/27/2019 I purchased a Rize Adjustable base from Mattress Firm. In December 2019 the adjustable bed malfunctioned and I attempted tp file a service claim. Mattress Firm referred me to ServeCo the warranty provider hired by Mantua to preform warranty service. ServeCo sent a replacement motor. When using the massage function of the adjustable bed the new motor sounds like a car and reached 70 Db. I called the warranty company and they will not provide a solution to the noise. I am told they will send pads to buffer the noise, yet the pads never arrive. Then I call again about the pads I am told they are waiting for the pads to arrive from Mantua. I call Mantua, they call ServeCo, and I am told the pads are on the way. I call Mantua again, they call ServeCo, I am told Mantua is also getting the run around and that ServeCo does not know when the pads will be in stock. Mantua is not standing by their product.

Good Afternoon

he customer has been in contact with Serveco , our warranty company originally

12/30-head and foot massage motors not working

1/7-customer confirmed parts have been delivered

1/13 service tech went out

The customer is claiming the bases are now making too much noise when the massage motors are on, kept in contact since part was backordered. They have been in contact to schedule a appointment to replace the foam around the massage motor

We sell to a retailer. She purchased it from Mattress Firm. Sometime after she purchased it there was an issue. She called the warranty company. They came put and fixed it. Then there was an issue for the massage motors. We sent those out. An extra layer of foam because it was too loud.

She has opened more claims. There are now a total of 4 claims. She received parts on 2/10 customer called on 2/11 and they changed the date at earliest when techs could arrive. On 2/19 tech came out and inspected and installed all parts. On 2/25 customer still has issues. Asked consumer to send so they could hear the noises she sent the noise video and they inspected. Sent to tech company. Asked questions

we have been out there times to fix the issues. Maybe Mattress Firm can help us to find out what to do with her. Is the customer willing to get another bed? If so, I can do that for her.

Mattress Firm has not made any offer of assistance. They indicate they have no responsibility, they are merely the retailer and will do nothing to help.

I bought an adjustable base called Mantua Rize Contempo III at Relax the back store In TX from Rize by Mantua. The first 2 weeks we tried sleeping in the bed and we were waking up every 2 hours. The base was not comfortable in a flat or any other position. We originally went to the store where we bought it but they said there is nothing they can do. We then called them Rize by Mantua and let them know. They told us to call their warranty company ServeCo. ServeCo had a technician from *** to look at the bed on November 17th. He took pictures and measured the bed. He confirmed what we already knew the base is 1 inch off from the left to right side. He said that there was nothing they could do to fix it.
I have a herniated disc and that 1 inch causes me significant pain. My husband has no back problems and he can't even sleep on the base. Since the technician came out and gave the results Manatua and ServeCo have not resolved the issue. ServeCo says its Mantua who needs to handle this. While Mantua says we need to deal with ServeCo. ServeCo says their technicians cant fix the base and there is nothing else they can do.
Mantua says the base is fine and a few centimeters off from each side is no big deal. Which is extremely frustrating because that few centimeters makes the base unusable for us.

Good Morning,

e have spoke to the customer and his wife regarding what we can do to assist them if there is a problem with the base. We were told by the customer that the issue was the height not the width. That is what the warranty company went out there to look into, we have offered to send them new legs and they stated they do not want the base, The Return policy is based on the retailer they purchased the base from and they should be speaking to them. At the moment per the warranty company , there is nothing wrong with the base.

We will be reaching out to the consumer this morning to offer a different tech goes out and looks at it, which we have offered prior to this email

I bought a headboard from this company, and it didn't fit, so I went to return it and they told me I had to pay for shipping unless it was defective. I took it to UPS and it cost more to ship it than to buy it. They also charge a 50% restocking fee if it is not defective. I have been trying with no success to sell it on Craigslist and other online selling sites. I don't think this return policy is fair at all. Most other companies pay for the return. So, I am complaining about their return policy since they sell heavy items.

The customer was instructed to return the headboard due to not wanting it (buyer's remorse) , the freight back should have been approximately 24.00. We will reach out to the customer directly and request that we issue the pick up and deduct the freight from her credit, we may have a discount with our carrier that may make it less than if she went to a FedEx/UPS location
