On 06/13/LJ's Tow responded to a law enforcement call that was requested by the California Highway Patrol in Woodland , CAThe location of the call was South Bound I-freeway south of County Rdfor a Lexus ES gold in color with a California License plate of 5EXN
CHP not the Sheriff Depthad removed this vehicle under the vehicle code 22651.F which was left on the freeway in a right of way zoneI'm sorry to hear that *** *** *** had a unpleasant towing experience and in fact most people find it very unpleasant and time consuming to retrieve their vehicleMost people would have called for help them selves or use the call boxes that are provided on the freeway to call for help instead of abandoning their vehicle in a right a way zone on the freeway and forcing CHP to tow the vehicle before a severe accident occurred that would of tied up multiple emergency agencies for hours along with a congested commute on the freeway possibly creating more accidentsNow as for as *** *** *** taking it upon himself to drive to Sacramento Tow yard and not to the Woodland Tow yard is beyond me, I spoke to my dispatcher who talk to *** who never once told him to drive miles out of his way in another county, *** never ask for our address and obviously Google the wrong address as many other people do as wellOur business hour are from 8am to 5pm Monday thru Friday and any outside these times would occur a gate fee at any locationOur company has been in business for more than years towing for multiple law enforcement agencies with good reports and donating our time to multiple DUI programs and fire departmentIts absurd that *** make erroneous statement against our company.This is not our first encounter with *** *** *** as he has put a stop payment with his credit card company to us which I've spent numerous hours reversing the credit card company decisionLJ's Towing provided excellent service and if he feels his car was towed wrongfully his beef is with CHPWe wish *** the best and we are sorry for his unpleasant towing experienceSincerely *** *** General Manager

I am rejecting this response because: The car was not abandoned nor was there ever any danger of any accident as the car was pulled over to the side well away from anything.  We called the dispatcher to ask if he had our car and he told us that he did. The number we called had an address for Sacramento. The dispatcher never once told either me or my son, over multiple calls, that our car was in the Woodland lot even though we told him that we were coming from Woodland and due to traffic we would not arrive until after 5pm. Over multiple calls to LJs that you can see clearly in the phone records provided never once were we told our car was in Woodland, right down the street from us. If we had been told that LJ's would not have made that extra profit from the gate fee. We even asked if my other son could go pick up the car since he was closer to Sacramento and were told that only the owner of the car could pick it up. Upon arriving at the Sacramento location we were told immediately that our car was in the Woodland lot by the man working there that had spoken to us over the phone. We immediately turned around and went back to Woodland. This was done simply to add the gate fee to our tow total. I did attempt to put a stop payment on the credit card I used to prevent this literal highway robbery. I needed my car and couldn't afford to leave it over night while I waited for this dispute to settle. This is why I have turned to the Revdex.com for help. If LJ's towing provided excellent service like they claim why is the business rated 1.5 stars? I assume they only even have it that high of a rating because the lowest you can get is 1 star. The man that released the car to us in Woodland even told us that had we had called to tow the car ourselves it would have only cost $50.00. I am disgusted that our policemen would choose such a disreputable business to contract with when there are more reputable towing companies like Specialty Towing, who actually care about the people and services they provide.

the legal registered owner which makes her financially responsible for the towing fee's. No one ever contacted LJ's Towing to retrieve the vehicle which cleared it lien sale on 04/14/2014. At that time [redacted] was responsible for the impound fee's owed to LJ's Towing and was turn over to [redacted] to collect our debt.As For [redacted], we at  LJ's Towing are not affiliated with that tow company and if her car was towed by them she would have to reach out to them and resolve her towing issue with them.A copy of Roseville Police Dept is attached showing all the info why the vehicle was towed with date and time with vehicle info showing who the owner was.I hope this resolves issue with the complaint and Revdex.com requirementsThank you , Sincerely LJ's Towing management
