This company did a repair of a piston in our Kinetico water softener and returned it the next day Two nights later, on Thanksgiving night, we suddenly could get NO water out of any of our taps or toiletsI called TriCities Water Store on Friday morning, no one answered so I left a messageNo response, no call backNo running water in the house at all, with six people visiting from out of town, I called a plumber who came that Friday and had to clean out every spigot and toilet valve in the house, as they were all completely clogged with "media" from the insides of the water softener The repair of the piston had caused a surge of pressure when the softener was hooked up again, blowing out the screens that hold the "media" (which is tiny pellets of silicone like material) and filling our water heaters, and plumbing fixtures with the material On Monday morning the manager of the Water Store called No remediation offered, he refused to assist with the plumbing bill for $600, and no offer or response when I reminded him the our only alternative was to go to a hotel, of us, for the days and nights that we waited for him to call back If a Kinetico breaks, they will not do anything to fix it if it isn't 9-5, Monday-Friday Oh, and the piston repair cost us $besides, no warranty on "old" units (years)
