*** *** *** *** ***This is Andrew at the Maple Bridge InternationalThank you for your email and the detailed information about this caseThis is our first time receiving a complaint like this, and it is our company's responsibility to try our best to help this costumer
The costumer's name is *** ***, and she booked a trip with us to Vancouver departure on March Unfortunately, her son was not feeling well that day, and she contacted our company at 6:AM to inform us that she could not make itWe felt sorry for her situation; *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** Mrs *** insisted on getting a full refund because she did not attend our tripHowever, according to our company's policy on the travel brochure(in the attached file)," Customer who wishes to cancel the trip days before the departure date will not receive any refund"Unfortunately, Mrs*** wanted to cancel the trip at 6:AM on the departure date does not fulfill our refund policy. As for her request to contact the hotels and other travel agencies herself directly, we promised to negotiate with all of them, but we can not share the contact information with her as it is inappropriate to let our customer contact our tour partners directlyIt would damage our relationship with our partners if we let an angry customer to contact them directlyFurthermore, she also wanted to see our email contents with those agenciesWe said no to her because the communication between agencies is confidential due to the natural of our businessWe can not break the contract with our partners and disclose confidential information to a third party. She also mentioned that she paid for the 27th trip from Vancouver to Victoria including the ferry, park admission and lunch, which she thought it was refundableBut this one day tour was arranged as a packaged tour throught a third party, they also have the day cancellation policy and we have paid full fee to the tour operator on behalf of the customerWe couldn't get any refund from the tour operator for the one day trip to Victoria.Again, we feel sorry for her, *** ** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** ** ***But we have our polices that we need to followWe will continue contacting her see what our company can doRight now we are offering her $credit for her future trips booked with us, with some restrictions that we have explained to herBut we haven't heard any response from her yetWe will keep Revdex.com updated and solve this complaint as soon as possible.
