I wanted to personally apologize for any miscommunicationI did state during the tour that the countertops were a "granite style laminate" once in our upgraded apartment and again in our classic apartment to distinguish between the two different types of laminate usedDoing a joint tour, it is possible you might have been exploring another part of the apartment while I discussed that with the other girls presentAgain, I apologize for not taking the time to elaborate on the nature of the countertops with you personallyWhen we discussed a couple of your specific concerns, I did state that "We would take everything into consideration." While we did not discuss qualifications outside of your specific concerns, you did have a chance to review and sign to acknowledge them as part of your application before submitting the application or paying any feesWe don't have an application quota here at Maple Brook because our goal is not simply to secure applications but rather to secure a new home for those looking for oneWe love Ford Employees and Welcome with open arms those Ford Employees that meet our qualificationsI personally dislike having to deny anyone but it's not a personal decision for me to make and so as [redacted] stated, we cannot guarantee an approvalI did however, offer an option that could result in an approval that I do hope you'll considerBecause we do value your feedback, and ultimately would like to find a way to bring you home to Maplebrook, [redacted] and I are looking forward to speaking with you tomorrow! We do use [redacted] however, the information pulled during the screening comes from one of the major Credit BureausExperian to be preciseYou may obtain a FREE copy of your credit report by contacting Experian directly within days of the date you received your follnoticeIf any information seems incorrect then we recommend reaching out to Experian to dispute information that you think is invalidWithout disclosing any information regarding your results, I will say that there are individual and group results to the credit screeningA group result may be different from an individual result and vice versaAn individual result during a group screening may also be different than an individual result in an individual screeningWe would be happy to discuss what this meant in your particular situation either by private message, a phone call or even in personThere is a simple answer however, it is inappropriate to discuss those details in a public mannerPlease reach out as we would like to make sure we have addressed all your concerns personally, professionally, and properlyThanks [redacted] ! We received another letter that seems to require an additional response or "report"It also states that the customer who filed the complaint is still requesting her application fees be refundedWe stand by our responseShe applied with her husband and collectively, they were denied for credit reasons based on information pulled from Experian by ***They both signed to acknowledged our requirements and that their application fees were not refundable even in the case of a denialWhile we would like to discuss with her personally rather than publicly the details of the decision she has chosen not to communicate except publicly and therefore we are unable to disclose further details without disclosing personal information publiclyWe have made it clear that we welcome anyone who meets the criteria put forth in our application which is in accordance with fair housing law and was also signed and acknowledged by the applicants in this caseSo again, we stand by our response and policy not to refund application fees for denials.
