Review: On 06/28/13 I bought several audio interconnects (cords from one piece of audio gear to another) from the Mapleshade people. Approximately two-three weeks ago I sent back one of a pair of the one meter interconnects ([redacted]) due to problems of not transmitting any signal when used on my DVD player (Oppo-105). I was told by "[redacted]" that the technician would let me know what the problem is, although after five non-returned calls on two separate days and two e-mails (to both) I was beginning to wonder. Today I called [redacted] and asked what was going on and could he contact the tech, as he wasn't answering me. [redacted] responded with "your a pain in the as and I'm not doing anything for you". You can pay up front, $45.00 and I'll have him fix it. I told him I wanted to know what specifically was the problem before paying anything and he again reiterrated your a pain in the as and I'm not doing anything for you.

I paid $1,484.17 for two pairs of interconnects, speaker wires and other audio equipment. Initially on receiving the audio gear, I found one I/C didn't work, sent it back and was told I tore it. After a bit a haggling, they didnot charge me the $45.00 to repair it. This was the beginning of this debacle, which obviously put [redacted] on edge. Now [redacted] seems to think he can keep my interconnect hostage.Desired Settlement: Either the original interconnect is returned in working order or it's replaced. Even better if possible, I would rather give all the interconnects back, keeping the speaker wire and other audio gear.
