Contacted BLC on Dec 19th 2017, for assistance with FEMA Flood Zone mapping reassessment, which they advertise as a "specialty" on their websiteInformed BLC that FEMA has provided us with a day window, from Nov.22nd, in which to submit FEMA documents with supporting stamped BLC engineer survey resultsBLC arrived at my house on Dec 20th, to take engineering measurements which would be used to fill out supplied FEMA forms and documents, which FEMA provided to meReached out on Jan 13th 2017, nearly a month later, and was told they "would be downloading data off the device, and filling out paperwork today." We expected to see a report the following weekReached out again on Feb 3rd 2017, as we had not yet had any contact (mail, phone, email) and was informed the papers would be completed and in the mail ETA should be Monday Feb 6th at the latestAs of Wednesday, Feb 8th, documents have not arrived, and the 90-day window will expire shortlyWhile I have not been billed, or have made any payment, I am presently looking at a situation where my petition with FEMA will expire and become voided because BLC has not responded in a timely manner with official documentsThe results of the FEMA determination will end up costing me thousands in additional insurance costs every year
