To whom it may concern,My name is [redacted] ***, Head of Support for MapQuestI'm writing to confirm that I have received and actioned on this complaint regarding the erroneous publishing of this business listing on MapQuest. As an immediate fix, I have suppressed the information on the MapQuest side which will be apparent within 1-business daysOnce the suppression goes through, the listing will no longer be searchable by name or phone number, and the URL previously associated with the listing will return a error pageFor reference, here is that URL:? [redacted] As a longer term fix, I have informed the provider of the source data, [redacted] , of the need to suppress this information as well so that we can hopefully help to prevent the individual's personal information from published elsewhere.Additionally, I have taken a very close look into MapQuest's support ticket queues and am unable to find any previous record of being contacted about this issue, however if any further assistance is required, the MapQuest Help team is more than happy to assistWe can be reached at help.mapquest.com/contact-usThank you, [redacted] ***Head of Support, MapQuest

To whom it may concern,My name is [redacted] ***, Head of Support for MapQuestI'm writing in response to the complaint submitted on behalf of [redacted] regarding their request to correct the outdated hours of operation that had been published on this MapQuest listing for their business: [redacted] MapQuest was publishing hours of operation for this listing that we received from another partner, and after also receiving support tickets from [redacted] last Friday, 7/15/2016, we now know that the data we had was representative of the [redacted] 's winter hours, and the requested change was to update this to their summer hours of 10am-10pm.As an immediate-term fix, I have suppressed the partner data reflecting the outdated hours from the page above and within hours it will stop showing the outdated hours information. To address the other problem that arose within [redacted] communications with [redacted] - I will be working with [redacted] to ensure communications to business owners regarding their MapQuest Listings are accurate in that ***'s role is to provide a premium listing package for business that are interested in enhancing their online presence. What was not communicated to [redacted] is that the MapQuest Help team is available to help people like [redacted] in this situation to ensure that the data we publish on MapQuest is **accurate [redacted] - and **at no charge to the business**I apologize for the miscommunication and want to reiterate that MapQuest is absolutely willing to help businesses ensure their listing is accurate via a support interactionPremium listings packages are not required in order to request that your business listing be updated on our siteThe Help team can always be reached at help.mapquest.com/contact-usI have an open support ticket with [redacted] that I am hopeful we can continue working on to reach a satisfactory resolution on this caseI am confident that the removal of the outdated data is a satisfactory immediate-term fix for this problem, and that moving forward we can communicate through our standard support channel for any further concerns/questions.Thank you! Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 6, 2015/12/22) */ To whom it may concern, MapQuest Customer Support received a similar correspondence from Ms [redacted] yesterday, 12/21/2015, and we are currently and actively working to resolve this conflict through our standard customer support channel For transparency's sake, I wanted to point out that the information Ms [redacted] refers to as being published was actually given to MapQuest by a data provider company called [redacted] While I have deleted the record of Ms***' information from MapQuest's data (which should fully process within 1-business days), I have also flagged this listing as needing to be removed with [redacted] given the privacy and safety concerns that Ms [redacted] has raisedThrough our support email correspondence, I also provided a contact website for Ms [redacted] in case she wants to personally follow up with [redacted] to ensure that they remove her listing from their data as soon as possible - it's possible that this listing information has been distributed to other companies that list local business data, so my recommendation for Ms [redacted] is to ensure that [redacted] handles her listing in a way that is satisfactory to her To quickly reiterate, I have manually removed this business record from MapQuest and this removal should be processed in 1-business days I hope this information is helpful and am more than happy to assist with any further questions or concerns Thank you, [redacted] MapQuest

FYI - The message below was just sent (by me) to [redacted] via MapQuest's support interface.--Hi again, [redacted] My name is [redacted] - I manage the Customer Support group for MapQuest.I want to start by apologizing for the less than great experience you had with our bookings site, and offer up both a short- and long-term resolution for youFor your information, I am sending this same reply to both this support inquiry and the corresponding Revdex.com case. For a short-term resolution, I have spoken with my contact at [redacted] and they informed me that as a good-will gesture, they contacted the hotel directly and worked out an exception to the no-cancelations policy on this specific reservationYou will be granted a full refund of $within the next 7-business days.To clarify, every individual room sold via MapQuest/ [redacted] 's bookings.mapquest.com integration is unique and will have a specific cancelation policy - in many cases, if you book far in advance your cancel/change policy may be more flexibleBookings that are made in the more immediate term, which sometimes have lower rates, may be accompanied by more strict cancelation policies. For a more long-term resolution, based on the comments you made in your Revdex.com submission specific to your experience on our site, we are looking into the User Experience from a Product perspective and realize that there are improvements that need to be made to the user-flow, especially focused on ensuring that the dates being chosen for Cheand Check-Out are explicitly confirmed before the end of the processWe will be working on a better User Experience for this specific workflow in the near future, and I really appreciate you pointing out the experience you had as this definitely helps us to understand how we can improve our products.I hope this information helps, and again I will be submitting this same message as a reply on the Revdex.com casePlease feel free to reach back out to us by replying to either the Revdex.com case or this support request if there is anything else we can do for you.All the best, [redacted] MapQuest Support
