I was advertised a free service, but was pressured into spending a lot of money.I met a representative of this clinic through a community fair. The sales rep advertised a free 30 massage after going into the clinic for a free consultation. However, on the day of the appointment, I got pressured into purchasing an unnecessary and unethical plan which involved offering chiropractic treatments, massages, overpriced products, and was pressured into signing up for a credit card to pay for it all. The original bill was Roughly $3,500, but after talking things through with a doctor by the name of [redacted], I was able to get the bill down to $1,000. I still found it to be too much and realize how much stress the purchase has given me. I started this purchase on 8/30/13, and barely paid off the credit card for the services just today. I find this very unacceptable. If a business advertises something, then they should honor their work without using attempts to pressure customers into buying a certain treatment plan that may not even be necessary and the amount itself can cause significant amounts of stress over time. If this is a clinic that promotes healthy living, then they need to rethink their business practices.Desired SettlementI am hoping that I can get a further refund than what was given the first time. I believe that the services and products sold to me should've easily been under $500.Business Response I called the patient and explained the services, supplements and supplies that he received. He said that he understood.I told him that he is more than welcome to come back and we can review anything he would like and schedule his next visit.
