Review: Marantha Tours Inc scheduled my departure flight for 1am Monday 11/25/13 but had me check out of the hotel 7:30am Sunday 11/24/13. On that very Sunday, they took us to the [redacted]. I wanted to take a shower after the [redacted] visit before I headed to the airport to catch my flight. I was informed that they cannot accommodate me. I spoke to three different staff about this problem. No empathy or solution was provided. I further explained to them that the urgency of the need for a shower because I would be on 2 different flights totaling 17 hours to reach my home. One staff by the name [redacted] suggested that I make a friend and use their shower. I do not feel comfortable making a friend with a stranger just to use their shower. This is a very personal request. Another person I spoke to by the name of [redacted] stated that he did this because if he didn't it would cost them monetary charge from the hotel for an extra day. I feel that they did not accommodate us properly. They have been doing this trip for years. Why would you take us the last day to the beach and not allow us to come back to the hotel to take a shower? Why wasn't this [redacted] visit scheduled another day where we had access to the hotel shower? I checked online, the [redacted], where I was staying charges $130 for one day. I am requesting to be reimburse at least $100. I would not have attended this trip if I was informed about this huge inconvenience.Desired Settlement: For this situation/ problem to be corrected, I need to be reimbursed $100.

First, as you know this is our first complaint in many years. We take pride in taking care of our pilgrims. Second, we never received any demand from the customer, but had her file with Revdex.com.

Attached is our information from our guide. I agree that Ms. [redacted] instead of enjoying the spiritual benefits of the Holy Land is now trying to get a refund that is not due.

Yet, to settle this I am going to send a check for $65. We do not pay rack rate, but a group rate. Had we been able to clear the room that would have been our cost.

Not only that, but we fed her. That dinner was paid separately as we had checked her out of the hotel. What we should pay is $35 to be fair to us.

I will have a check issued to her tomorrow.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

I don't understand why [redacted] responded that, "Second, we never received any demand from the customer, but had her file with Revdex.com." I address this issue with [redacted] and [redacted] before I went to Revdex.com. [redacted] responded that, "No. You don't get to take a shower." [redacted] responded, "To make a friend and use their shower. The hotel needs the room and cannot have you stay another day". They didn't care. Also, he stated that they provided me with dinner. I did not eat any dinner. They meal was vegan, which I'm not. I had my period at the time and was insulted that they did not find it unhygienic to deny me a shower. I'm further insulted that they think the request is me taking advantage. I learn my lesson. I will not ever do business with them. These people are highly inconsiderate.
