I am rejecting this response because:As I mentioned before, this trumpet was not in my possession for the past yearsI am not sure how and from whom marathon services collection this dataI was just able to get in touch with my son's dad who still has the trumpet at his houseI am willing to make arrangements to pick up and drop off trumpetI am not responsible for any of the usage fees as I explained earlierTrumpet was returned to his dad as soon I heard he was late on payments.My final resolution with Marathon services is getting amount owed by original borrow (my son's dad) removed from my credit history (as it is to report incorrect info) as soon as I return trumpet to the storeI never signed any contracts with the music store, and if Marathon services finds it necessary to collect they must go after the person who broke the contract.!!!!

Both parties claim the other has [redacted]'s trumpet that was rented for their son's use. Again, all it will take to end this is return of the property and an equitable payment for loss of use for 5 1/2 years. Again no response was ever given to many attempts to repossess this property until now, 5 years later the claim that [redacted] has it. We verified at the time of attempts of repossession that it was being used by [redacted] at his school while he lived with [redacted].

I am rejecting this response because:I understand you (marathon services) again refusing to provide me with evidence I am asking for the past 6 month. I never got any letters from your company in 2010 as you claiming. Marathon services very well aware that they are trying to collect from me illegally. How come your company never responded to my written request? Not till I filed claim against you with Revdex.com. You never responded to CFPB, they sent you my request 4 month ago..Once again I am asking for Marathon services to provide me with original signed contract for this false collection.   As of now Marathon services violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act by Failing to Verify Disputed Debt. It is a law: If one disputes collection account in writing, the collector must stop trying to collect until it provides written verification of the debt. It has been over six months and I gave not received from Marathon services this verification. How can marathon services claim I owe them money and report unverifiable  debt?. This is absolutelly an acceptable behavior!Marathon services braking the law.! Marathon services cannot collect debt from me that belongs to anonther person (my ex husband).

We are not going to discuss the legalities of ownership of this debt in a community property state on-line with a formal complaint filed against us. Again we have attempted to resolve this matter amicably since January 2010. Irina Irilyuk needs to contact Marathon Services, Inc. at the phone # we have been providing since January 2010 to discuss what is possible after the instrument is returned as we have asked in in letters and notes left when attempts to repossess Northridge Music's Property failed. We will not respond to any further communication in this matter through this complaint as the way to resolve this has been offered many times throughout the years.

I am rejecting this response because:I tried contacting Marathon Services by mail to let them know that they are collecting from me item I do not have. This item is not in my possession since 2010. As soon as I was contacted by marathon in 2010 I immediately  returned item back to the person who signed the leasing agreement with the music store. In the letter  from Marathon services they are  claiming that they have stopped by in 2010 to pick up the item, but it looks like they were coming to the wrong address. I am asking Marathon services to immediately stop collection as I never signed any contracts with them nor music store. I gave back the item to the person responsible for the contract and it's  not in my control what happened to the item. As I mentioned before I will be taking this to the court system if Marathon services continue fraudulent collection and reporting to my credit. I never had any legal responsibility for the item as I never had signed any contracts.!

Review: MARATHON SERVICES company trying to collect and reporting false information.I tried contacting company to inform them of this matter in writing and certified mail so I know they gettin my letters. The first letter they sent was nothing but them trying to bully me into paying money I do not owe to them. It has been now over 6 month me trying to get hold of the company and to verify the accuracy of the account. The consumer financial protection law is now broken and they continue to ignore my contacts with them and contact from CFPB.Desired Settlement: I request this false reporting removed immediately by marathon services. They must remove false information from all 3 credit buroeaus by June 26 or I will be filing a lawsuit against Marathon Services.
