Maratone Landscaping

This was our first year with hiring a landscaper. We had them do our spring clean up which was not totally though there was a lot of leaves left in the garden beds and around areas that could have been easily blower out with a leaf blower. We had service for most of May 2019 the service was not consistent at all. One week the front was only cut and not the back. My garden beds weren’t weeded like I was told that that would be part of the weekly service. I have left several messages and not got a call back . It’s been over a week since I left a message and almost two weeks since they were here to do the service for weekly maintenance. This being our first experience is not a good one at all . We are NOT happy with this company at all. They NEVER return your calls and always get an answering machine when you try to contact them. Not a company we want to do business with.

HORRIBLE SERVICE, THEIR GUYS DESTROYED MY FLOWER BEDS AND LAWN LIGHTS AND UPROOTED ALL MY FLOWERS!
THEN CHARGED ME FOR A "CLEANUP" I DID NOT AUTHORIZE!

Review: I had signed a contract on May **, 2013 for landscaping service for 2 house locations, located at [redacted], and [redacted]. On the first service cut I was standing outside my house as the landscaper was cutting the lawn, and I politely asked him not to leave any other cut grass from previous cuts on my property. The landscaper responded by yelling and stating don't aggravate me I already gave you a good price. I felt threatened, insulted and humiliated by these landscapers. I was shaken and scared, having a [redacted] I had my son ask them not to come on our property again. After leaving 3 messages which they never responded to, on Wednesday June **, 2013 they again came on my property to cut the lawn. I kindly request that you assist me in informing them not to come on either locations of the 2 property's I had signed for them to service the lawn.They have a Nassau Lic # [redacted] and Suffolk LIC# [redacted]Certified Applicator # [redacted], NYS DEC Pesticide REG# [redacted]Desired Settlement: I request that they terminate Service/Contract immediately and not come on either one of my property's in Copiague nor Lindenhurst, as I feel threatened by there appearance.

This letter is in response to the complaint made to the Revdex.com about my company by [redacted]. On the day in question, [redacted] came outside where my crew and Iwere working and yelled at us about leaving other customers' grass clippings on her property. My only concern at that moment was that fact that she could be injured by a rock, kicked up by one of our machines. Iyelled to her, over the noise of the machines, stating that she can't be outside while we're working. Against my request, she not only remained outside, but she followed my crew around her property while they were still working.

I don't understand why a complaint was made when I was only looking out for her protection. I only received one (1) message, it was from her son, telling me to stop service on both properties. That message was received after the second cut and I stopped service immediately.

[redacted]'s complaint has no merit as I did exactly what they requested.

This letter is in response to [redacted]'s recent letter stating that she didn't follow the crew around as they worked and she wants a refund. She did, in fact, follow the crew around and she's not gelling a refund for the work performed. Site had absolutely no complaints about the work done on her property, until 1 filed court papers for breech of contract. If she was so unhappy with mv work then why did site hired me again??? [redacted] was a customer of mine a few years back and I cancelled her contract back then because she was difficult and followed my crew around us they worked. The only reason I took her back as a customer this year was because I was assured by her son, [redacted], that these were his houses now and that he would be handling everything.

[redacted] chose to sign up with me, again, and now she's changed her mind.

She's upset because I'm holding her responsible for the contracts. We did exactly what we were contracted to do. She's playing games with the system hoping that I won't take her to court.

The crew was never followed around as alleged, this is a poor excuse for a dishonest company who enjoys

taking advantage of people. The work was incomplete, and unprofessional at both houses. I appreciate

the attempt by Revdex.com, to resolve the problem. If they were a reputable company this would not have reached this far. The only

alternative is to resolve this in civil court. Thank you again Revdex.com for you intervention in an attempt to resolve the complaint
