I spoke with Eric March and I took a verbal response from himHe stated: I originally recommended to him that the roofing job should be a "total tear off", not a "re-roof"He did not take my recommendationIf he did the total tear off, we would have put ice and water shield in as wellBut
since he chose not to, it was not in the original scope of things for us to do on the contractThere was obvious prior old water damage at the house before I had done any work thereAfter we put the roof on, we had many, at least 30, heavy rains, and received no call at all about any leaksI went over there several times and re-tarred for himI also met with his insurance adjuster, there, and we looked at it togetherThe insurance adjuster then gave him additional money to do more repair workI don't know if he had someone else do that additional work, or if he kept the money ( I have no knowledge of that), but he did not have me do the workHe got this house about 5-years ago and it was an abandoned HUD houseThe siding, in the area in question, where the leaking is occurring, is questionable for repair alsoThe last time I spoke to him, I had told him that I had done over insurance jobs for ice dammingSeveral of those customers had continual problems that could have been created from the original ice damming which causes flashing problems which can re-occur again after the first repairAll together, I made 5-trips out there.Then he became unreasonable
