Marcia Esquenazi Architect, P.C. Reviews (2)

Review: In late 2011, my neighbor (who had just completed his renovations) advised me that (to my surprise) my 1997 renovation had not been signed off on by the NYC Department of Buildings. I contacted [redacted], the architect I used on the project, and asked her to complete the project. She agreed to do so, we entered into a contract, and I paid her fee in December 2011 for this work (as she had need of the money). [redacted] took certain actions in 2012, but having not heard from her since September 2012 (despite efforts to reach her), I wrote her via certified letter in February 2013. She responded by promising to move my project "to the front burner," and to reach out to me. She also asked that I replace the two checks to the NYC Department of Buildings I had written in March 2012 (which I did in March 2013). At this time, the replacement checks remain uncashed, and I have heard nothing further from [redacted] since March 2013(despite emails and telephone calls, and despite a second certified letter and email sent August **, 2013 asking for a response by August **, 2013).Desired Settlement: I want [redacted] promptly to complete the project. If that is not possible, I would like [redacted] to give me detailed information about what she has accomplished so far and what remains. This information would enable me to engage someone else to complete the process. Also, if [redacted] is unable to complete it, I would like the return of an equitable portion of my payment.

Response:

At this time, I have been contacted directly by [redacted] Architect, P.C. regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I have received a status report, but the job is not yet finished. I do expect it to be finished in the next three months, but until it is, the complaint is not resolved.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,
