common to do so because material can not be brought in any other wayAlso hired was a concrete truck that delivered the materialI never ''claimed'' to be there the day of the pour nor was I but I was there previous to evaluate and meet the home owners and explain what the procedure of course my men were there that day to install concreteAfter our job was complete and everybody left I received a call from the contractor stating the customers car has been damagedI immediately contacted my men to see if they did it or knew what had happened, they did notA picture was sent to me of the damaged vehicle , a small compact carThere were claims that either the concrete truck or the pump truck had must have done the damagePersonally, they are both very large trucks and if they would have hit this car it would have done an enormous amount of damage ,but I wasn't there so I don't knowI called both other companies and explained what might have happened and both said it was impossible the scratched the carThe pump company said that they were willing to bring truck down and match it up with the car but the customers already had the car at a shop and fixed two days laterThe customers mom called infuriated and demanded I supply them with all the information of everyone that was there that day''I am not at liberty to do so" is what I told this very angry woman and the then proceeded to try and have me discount the bill instead of them going through insurance, Its then that I had said ''thats why we have insurance'' she kept trying to have me remove thousands from the bill saying that its in my ''best interest''I told her thats extortion and illegal .I am sorry what may have happened to there car parked in the street but it has nothing to do with worked performed and are two separate incidencesSince then we have been trying to collect by sending statements both regular mail and certifiedthe amount due is 4,not the 3,they had mentionedWe tried repeatedly to contact them and collect but still has of today November ** still have not been paidAs of November *, we have put it in to Suffolk County District court for a hearing. The company has not satisified my complaint at all. The company had stonewalled myself and my insurancd carrier from obtaining insurance information about his company or the vehicles it uses or hires for any investigation. Secondly my mother never called him. The owner of the company stated to me that he was indeed present at the time of the construction of which he is now denying he was ever there. The rat slab isn't correctly installed as there is dirt still exposed. It's extremely off level and there is parts of the exposed plastic layer not covered with concrete. I would never recommend anyone do businesses with this company because they'll damage your car do 75% of the job and when you ask questions they threaten to sue you.
