Mr*** checked in with us at 9:59pm, renting the room for himself and one childWe watched him go in to the room with more people than he statedForty minutes after checking in he called the office and said that his son found a baggie
with drugs in itHe was asked to bring it to the office and he then said he flushed it down the toiletHe then started complaining about other things in the roomTen minutes after his complain the manager walked in and she was informedAt the time we had a detective in the office searching for some individualMr*** then walked into the office and spoke with the manager and again he was asked why if he found drugs he did not bring it in as evidenceHe said that if a cop drove by and saw him he would be charged with possession
if the drugs were indeed in a haggle he could have easily put it in his pocket or even hidden then in his handIt is common sense to bring in the evidence when accusing someone of somethingThe way he was acting did not make his accusation credibleEven the detective later asked "why would he flush it and not bring it in?"
He was then asked why did he only checked in one adult and one child and yet he had a female in the roomHe then claimed she was just visitingHe was offered to wait till the morning and speak with the owner to get a full refund or he could accept half as a refund because that was all we were allowed to offer( Forty minutes of being in a room is too much time for a full refund.)
He said he would take the half but he would be returning in the morning to speak with the ownerThis was at 11:15pm
The clerk , the manager and the maintenance man then went to take a look at the roomThe only thing found was a few small shaving on the back of the toilet seatNothing else was foundThe bedspreads had been somewhat pulled back and rumpled as if lain on., but the blanket and sheets were still tucked in tight so his claim that the sheets and blankets were not cleaned is not trueThere were also no sticky spots or any other hairs in the room
The next day he spoke with the owner and he was offered to be paid for the expense of his room at the motel that he ended up staying at but he wanted to see the receiptHe then claimed that he didn't stay anywhere that he slept in his car
His claim of us being rude and using strong profanity is not trueHis claim was unbelievable and we did let him know that
As far as a resolution he was offered to be refunded for his expense for whatever room he did end up staying at, but coincidentally he didnt have a receipt because he claims he slept in his car
We believe he got the use of the room that he needed and then decided to complain and get his money backWhich is something that happens a lot in this business
