Marcos Laundry Appliance Repair

Review: On Dec. 5 2013 I called Marco's Laundry Appliance Repair to fix my dryer. I wanted to hire locally. He came out within an hour and diagnosed the problem. He had to order the part and it should be a few days. However, being a small company, he would need the money for the part. This was $193.58. My husband wrote the check. It was posted the next day. So we waited! After a couple days, we called him after several tries, he said it would be in the next day in the afternoon. We waited till the next day and nothing happened. We called him about 20 times and just got message. We left several messages and he never got back to us. After a couple days we had someone else call the number and low and behold it went right through. She gave my husband the phone and he told us he had to go to Mexico to visit his sick father. He said he left us an email, which we did not receive. He told us he would be out the next day. We told him we wanted our money back. He agreed to come by when he got back which would be the next day. He said he was on his way home. In the meantime, I called another repair service and he agreed that the problem was what [redacted] said and that he would order the part and be back in a couple days. We had him order it and I now have my dryer repaired after over two weeks. But, I still do not have the money that I gave [redacted] for nothing. All I want is my $193.58 back!Desired Settlement: All I want is my money back and to tell others that [redacted] is not to be trusted to do any kind of repairs. I want $193.58 back!
