I am responding to the complaint filed by Ms. [redacted]. I have paid her $1200.00 and did explain to her that money was a little tight with the holidays. I hope to pay her the remainder by the end of January.

[redacted] of Marc's Auto Body says he has explained to me that money was a bit tight over the holidays. This is incorrect. I have not had any communication from [redacted] since he paid me the 1200 dollars in early October. In addition, he has not responded to emails I sent in November and December to ask him to pay, as detailed in the original complaint. His lack of response and interest in paying me what he owes me is why I filed the complaint in the first place. I don’t believe him when he says things are slow and I am very offended at the suggestion that I should be in a position to just essentially lend him money for months until he thinks it fit to pay. I am also deeply offended by the attitude that he thinks it is ok to take money like this from his customers. I want him to pay the $802.17 plus 20% interest he owes me ASAP, via a bankers check. The interest should be calculated from September 4, 2015, which is when the car rental charge and the bounced check fees showed up on my credit card. Given his history of writing bad checks, I will not accept a personal check.
