I hired this guy to fix a hole in my couch. He asked me to send him $60 for materials via interac e transfer. I did. As soon as I sent it I messaged him to tell him not to buy the materials yet as I was still dealing with the warranty which I don't think will go through so to please wait until further instruction to get any of the materials. The company ended up replacing the part and therefore didn't need his services anymore. He replied that he had already bought the materials (after I specifically told him not too right after I sent him the money). This was not a non refundable deposit... I never would have sent the money if it was. It's been 3 weeks of asking for the money back and he just replies with excuses or offering one hour of handyman services which we do not need. Last Thursday I gave him a week to return the funds or I'd be going a different route to get them. It's been 8 days and after 2 texts haven't recieved a response.
Refund I sent him $60 via interac e transfer and would like the $60 returned to my account the same way.
this Customer have received a full refund and I was told that he asked to have this complaint removed. I have a signed document that was given his refund *** so please remove this complaint immediately.
He has bought a new couch and wouldn't need the old couch repaired anymore, I offered services for the amount he paid but he preferred a cash refund instead, and he got it.
