be two seams. She did not like this option. The only other option would be that we could glue it down but it would look the exact same due to the seam not being done properly originally.  We would be doing this to keep from anyone tripping.  So, we could only put glue under the carpet on the original heat tape.  Therefore, that is what my worker did for this customer. It is a repair job and it was stated from the beginning that it would only be fixing them from tripping.  However, it would look exactly the same due to the previous installation job.  The original price to just put the glue on the heat tape was my minimum charge which is $150.00  Therefore, she did not pay us $500 for this job.  When we put the glue under the carpet, it was not holding the way she liked therefore she did not even pay us the $150.00.  It was not done to her liking therefore she did not pay anything for what we did.  Sincerely,Bill B
