Marcus Carpets

Review: To whom it may concern-

My name is [redacted] and I hired Marcus Carpets Installations to install my carpeting so I can put my house on the market. Marcus was very nice and accommodating when we first met and discussed the work that had to be done. He also agreed to place my tiling in a small room for a 100.00. I bought the tiles and other supplies necessary for the work to be done. Marcus showed up 2 hours later then when he said he would come, I almost missed doing volunteer work that day, on October 16, 2013. He brought a partner worked all day into the night on the basement carpet. He agreed to come back on Saturday October 19, 2013 to fix buckling in the work of the carpet, the work was pretty poor. I was surprised there was buckling already, however I trusted he would fix it I cannot show carpet to potential buyers with the buckling all over new, basement carpet. Also there was carpet debris all over some of my stuff I had to throw out it was too dirty to save, Needless to say I was pretty upset. Saturday morning he agreed to come at 11am to finish the job. I called and called left numerous messages even saying if you are blowing me off with the tiles at least fix the work you did on the carpet. Of course he had me pay him the balance on October 16; cost of the work was 1,800.00.1 tried to cancel second check it was cashed immediately. I called again then got very angry and called Revdex.com spoke to [redacted] and he told me how to file a complaint. I really feel this company needs to fix the work however I do not want to see this Marcus. I will take your advice. I am attaching his invoice could not make out his last name.
