I am rejecting this response because: Per Dr.’s response: #2&Dental office had run out of alginate silicone impression material for the opposing upper arch which I was never advised on 10/06/that I had to reschedule to complete the Permanent Final Implant Restoration #I was called by assistance [redacted] on 11/01/and scheduled an appointment for 11/03/at am which I could not make it so called to cancel on 11/03/at am due to car problemsDr.’s states that Assisa6nt [redacted] completed opposing arch impression“IN WHICH WAS NEVER COMPLETED! **ERROR [redacted] Please review your records On 11/06/I called and spoke to [redacted] to rescheduleThis is when the time was taken to inform me and discuss flexible payment plansAfter the fact that I agreed to proceed with Permanent Final Implant restoration prior to 10/I have always paid the DR’s with monthly installmentsIn fact, I had given a lump sum of $in which is reason I had the credit of $A future payment plan was never brought to my attention let alone discussed before it was too late! As Dr.’s mention in #therefore; I presumed after being treated for two years that payment plan was the same #states that [redacted] ’s’ front office staff member who has relayed inaccurate infooutside her job duties, specific of scopes and daily functions should affect and determine the ERROR occurred above since the OPPOSING UPPER ARCH IMPRESSION was never COMPLETED! Please refund my credit

Per Dr.’s response:
#2&3 Dental office had run out of alginate silicone impression material for the opposing upper arch which I was never advised on 10/06/2017 that I had to reschedule to complete the Permanent Final Implant Restoration.
#5 I was called by assistance [redacted] on 11/01/17 and scheduled an appointment for 11/03/17 at 8.30 am which I could not make it so called to cancel on 11/03/17 at 7.30 am due to car problems. Dr.’s states that Assisa6nt [redacted] completed opposing arch impression. “IN WHICH WAS NEVER COMPLETED! **ERROR** Please review your records.
On 11/06/17 I called and spoke to [redacted] to reschedule. This is when the time was taken to inform me and discuss flexible payment plans. After the fact that I agreed to proceed with Permanent Final Implant restoration prior to 10/06. I have always paid the DR’s with monthly installments. In fact, I had given a lump sum of $800.00 in which is reason I had the credit of $377.40. A future payment plan was never brought to my attention let alone discussed before it was too late! As Dr.’s mention in #7 therefore; I presumed after being treated for two years that payment plan was the same.
#5 states that [redacted]’s’ front office staff member who has relayed inaccurate info. outside her job duties, specific of scopes and daily functions should affect and determine the ERROR occurred above since the OPPOSING UPPER ARCH IMPRESSION was never COMPLETED!

Re: Complaint From Ms [redacted]I have received and reviewed above issue and concerns from Ms [redacted]:There appears to be a number of misunderstandings which I hope to clarify as follows:1. Ms [redacted] agreed to proceed with Permanent Final Implant restoration of recently placed Dental Implant #31 (...

lower right rear second molar )2. On 10/06/17 Ms [redacted] presented for Implant crown Impression #313. I personally  took the permanent silicone impression on lower arch that ONLY a skilled Implant experienced provider can perform4. We had ran out of alginate; non-silicone impression material for the opposing (upper) arch; which can and often are taken by trained auxillary back office staff members5. Ms [redacted] was asked to return for impression of opposing arch ONLY which was completed by my assistant, [redacted], and no retakes were ever completed. [redacted] is my front office staff member who has relayed inaccurate information outside her job duties, specifics and scope of daily functions6. There were NO ERRORS made at any time during the course of her appointments 7. There was no flexible payment plan ever discussed in regards to providing this Implant crown service; and since entails laboratory technician time; labor and expertise to fabricate; we always need more prompt payment at time of services; and had asked her for what is customary to expect: Half of her payment portion at time of impression ; balance upon delivery of implant crown; less any insurance payments anticipated to be received8. It appears Ms [redacted] had decided upon herself to make her own payment plan that was not agreed upon or per our office policy for this type of procedural item in manufacturing Implant crowns9. Laboratory technician has also created a lab ticket for receiving the work thus far; at cost of $273.49 10. Upon request of refund of some credit on Ms [redacted]'s account; I proceeded with a most minimal labor and materials adjustment for staff wages; times and materials involved at initial impression appointment on 10/06/17 of $10711. I still have pending laboratory bill to pay for and had Ms [redacted] explained ahead of time her financial intent and circumstances; this unnecessary wastage of many providers' time; labor and materials as well as laboratory technician time could have been avoidedHope this helps clarify all aspects pertaining to circumstances involvedDr A Mardirossian DDS, MSDiplomate; American Board of Periodontology
