Review: When I hired [redacted] I had already had most of my divorce setteled, he said for $3000.00 he would finish the divorce. I made a list of things I wanted to settle I gave our community home to the ex all I was asking for was part of my ex's retirement all the things before marriage. When [redacted] arrived to the settle agreement he didn't bring the labtop said he forgot it at home so he wrote it by hand (by hand really?. So I know what I verbely said and agreed on but looking over at the paper. I have emailed him and his assitant for over 3 months 1 resonpse from the assitant now it is too late to get any of my ex I was told by another attorney today I had 6 months from that date and because [redacted] did not follow through I lost over $600,000.00. While in the hallway on more than on occasion he asked other attorneys how to go about his own case (my case). Also the judge awared me attorneys fees of $4,000.00 I ask him to make a check to me in that amount he laughed and said he could not do that. At which time I didn't owe him any money. I would advice any and everyone to stay away.Desired Settlement: I have reported him tho the State Attoney General's Office the State Bar and now to the Revdex.com. I am a senior citzen I feel I was taken advantage of.

It is my understanding my former client, [redacted], filed a complaint against me with your agency. She also filed a complaint against with the State Bar. I handled Ms. [redacted]'s divorce, and she received everything she was asking for. Mrs. [redacted] is upset because we were not able to collect a $4,000 judgment for attorney's fees from the opposing party, who is retired. Ms. [redacted] has made a number of completely false allegations against me. For example, she complained to the State Bar that we did not have fee agreement in place, however, I have a signed fee agreement signed by her on file at my office, which I provided to the State Bar.

Ms. [redacted] has made a number of other false allegations, which she simply made up. It is true that we continue to bill our clients even if we obtain an order for the other side to pay attorney's fees, until and unless we actually collect against the judgment or order, which is a standard practice with all law firms. We would not be able to survive as a business if we had to depend on enforcing judgments and orders against opposing parties to collect our attorney's fees, and our clients sign an agreement in which they agree to pay the fees.
