Avoid this business at all costs We were using Stampley CPA, and they did very solid work for us after having another CPA perform poorly on both our business bookkeeping review and tax filings She did very good work, and supported us well in Unfortunately something has drastically changed in this business
We did provide poor documents and ask for last minute help in reconciling bookkeeping issues we had, Unfortunately, as the previous review stated, there are some serious issues with customer service, timeliness, and communication
For starters, just dial the number listed for this business You will, so kindly, be greeted with not a single ring, but rather a number that goes straight to voicemail 100% of the time Leave as many messages as you like, they will not be returned (we have personally left or in the last month and a half without a response)
Compound that with the fact that emails are not answered In the same month and a half, separate emails have been sent to all listed contacts, as well as the personal and individual accounts we have for the employees and *** herself, without a single response
In order to get any information on our business with her, my wife was forced to show up at the office, unannounced and without appointment (because how can you make an appointment when you cannot speak to anyone or get a response), with both of our children in tow Once she managed to corner the business owner, who has all of our documents and files, she requested an update on progress on our tax return We were told that we were in line, but she was behind because someone had quit, as well as various and sundry other issues with the business, but she would get to us soon This was exactly weeks ago Since, we have not gotten a single bit of communication or information, no responses to calls or email requests, or anything else resembling customer service or communication
Long story short, I will be going in for another on sit down tomorrow I can understand delays in the process, issues, etc What I cannot understand, nor should any customer expect, is blatant lack of communication and disregard for inquiries from repeat customers
In case you missed it...AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS!!!
