RE: ID# [redacted] Dear Sirs: This letter is written in response to the above referenced complaint. We have tried to work with the complainant on the issues raised by [redacted] since late last year. [redacted] called us several times with...

complaints about the job. Upon returning to the job site, we found that there were no issues, or the issues she was complaining about did not have anything to do with the contracted work we completed. When [redacted] was told about our findings, (that the issues had nothing to do with our work), she became verbally abusive. As a matter of fact, [redacted] became verbally abusive on several occasions, to the extent we had employees refusing to work at the [redacted] job site. The [redacted]’s have refused to pay for irrigation repairs of $1600.00 plus NJ Sales Tax of $112.00, which is a total outstanding balance of $1,712.00. The irrigation repairs were clearly to be paid by the [redacted]s, as stated in the signed contract. We are more than willing to resolve the relevant issues [redacted] has raised, once the past due balance of $1,712.00 for irrigation repairs mentioned above, has been paid in full. Specifically: It is likely that the loose rear stairs to the patio need additional adhesive applied. [redacted]’s complaint about the walkway sand “starting to disappear and may be loosening”, is a post-installation maintenance issue and not under warranty. Concerning [redacted]’s complaint about water leaking into the basement, the Revdex.com communication to [redacted] dated March 7, 2016 is the first we have been informed of any water leaking into the basement. Once we’ve determined the cause, if it is in fact related to the contracted work we completed, we will provide repair as needed. The lighting not working is most likely a tripped GFI issue, timer reset issue, or other simple matter that can be fixed, once the cause is determined. As far as not returning [redacted]’s phone calls, I elected not to call her, as I refused to put myself into a position that would enable [redacted] to further verbally abuse me. There is a remaining disputed amount of $1,712.00 owed to [redacted] for irrigation repairs that were completed. Upon receipt of the past due balance I will return to the job site to address the loose stair issue, however, please be advised I am NOT willing to enter or visit the [redacted] home to complete that work, the lighting repair, or inspect the basement water leak UNLESS MR. [redacted] is present at all times. Further, I request that Mr. [redacted] personally review and approve any future work when completed, as we are unable to satisfy [redacted] regardless of our efforts to do so. [redacted] has been in business for over 30 years and we pride ourselves in the quality of our work and customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, we are not confident that we will be able to provide complete resolution of the issues raised because of [redacted]’s negative attitude and wild allegations against our company.
