I am rejecting this response because:  The Revdex.com route is getting me nowhere.  I can prove what I am saying is the truth.  Therefore, I will be taking further action elsewhere.

Review: After detailing my car, I discovered that the seat leather was hard, dry, and had lost its sheen. I called [redacted]'s and was told by her husband that they would be by that week to fix the seats, but they never showed. My next call was never returned. I took my car to another detailer and was told that the seats cannot by fixed and that they will eventually crack. The seat cushions are the most damaged, but the backs are also damaged. According to Acura of Modesto, the cost of replacing the seat cushions alone is $3,748.58 ($2948.58 for the leather + $800 is for the installation). Possibly the backs of the seats can be rehabilitated, if not, that leather will also need to be replaced. Her husband told me that detailing my car would increase the value, but obviously their detailing has greatly decreased the value of my car which has less than 35,000 miles on it.Desired Settlement: Replacement of leather seat cushions and rehab of the seat backs. If backs cannot be rehabbed, then they also need to be replaced.

Response:

Yes I did clean the vehicle she told me she had spilled a big pot corn beff and hash on the front passenger seat on the way to her mothers house she said it was over a month ago the seat was very stiff and the cushion was very hard and discolored I talk to her for awhile about the condition of her all the seats I told her I could not fix all the cracks in front and back seats they were already there the seat where dirty very hard They had no shine to them told her I couldn't doing anything to fix the cracks the only way to fix the seat is to have the seats replaced but I could put a leather treatment on them and it would slow the cracking down but would not stop it I told her I (2) different kinds of leather treatment one will give it a natural look and the other would make them shine she told me to do the natural one I told her the shinny one would be better because it would make the black seats darker and take some of dullness out of them she said natural I used a Brand from P&S detail product to clean the leather & a leather treatment which is a very good product I have been using for years these product I have used this in brand new vehicle I worked at 14 different dealerships for several year using these product this product Is sold at the dealership when selling the vehicle with a leather treatment sealer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: [redacted]'s story is pure fabrication. The only thing that has a ring of truth to it is the fact that I had spilled something on the front passenger seat. However, it was not "a big pot of corned beef and hash." It was approximately two cups of water at the most in which I had cooked a corned beef. This did nothing to the seat, but I was concerned that it might smell at some point. She states that my seats were already cracked and discolored. The fact that my seats do not have one crack in them and that they are not discolored proves that this is a fabrication. This can be verified by many people, including my mechanic where I get my car serviced regularly. She also said that the seats had no shine to them, but my seats do have a shine to them where they were not ruined by [redacted]. My car has less than 35,000 miles on it and, since I do not work, it stays in the garage over 90% of the time. This can also be verified. When I called about the seats the first time, her husband told me that they would come by and treat them that week. They had their chance to try to fix this and did not. I have been told by someone at a detailing business that nothing can be done to restore the seats. The second time I called, I left a message and it was not returned.
