Maria Duval is a scam artist she took $45 dollars from me and I have written her many times with no response. She is a so called psychic cult proclaim in her mailings. Complaint$45charge never received $45 ok'd but charged $55 never received. Cancelled 3 times. No monies returned. Sent everything back. Still being charged.I agreed to try services. Maria Duvall has scammed my mother who has dementia. We can't get a hold of this person for refund and cancellation.Over the past year my Mother has been taken advantage of by this woman. She has bilked her out of hundreds of dollars and we would like a refund for false advertising, extortion and every other low down name you can call taking advantage of a person with dementia. We have tried to intercept any correspondence with this lady, but she has my Mother's bank account number and is continuing to take money out of her account, which she doesn't have any extra money to spare for such foolishness. We have sent back letters with cancel on them to no avail. Could you please step in and help us to recover and stop this reoccurring withdrawl from her account. Desired SettlementIdeally, We would like a refund for all monies paid to this Maria Duvall, but would be just as happy to have the reoccurring debit cancelled. Destiny Research Center has repeatedly promised that I would receive winnings from lotteries or money from other resources if I sent them money to provide psychic services to give me the information required to win (i.e. numbers, dates, etc.) I have sent over $1500 since April and not one of their promises have come to fruition. I have asked to be taken off their mailing list and for a refund. Year of oct , 2011-2012(i do not know exactly which month) but I did file a complaint of Maria duval about billing issue and the case was closed then I did not contact with her over 2 years and on march I again received her letter and I decide to mail her and give a check for $5 dollars and I believe it was cashed and the result is she mailed me a fake charged of two letter indicate there are two check that I wrote to her which I did not write these two checks to herAnd they are check"[redacted]" and "[redacted]" and in her letter she indicate that these two check was returned and nonpayment and she also indicate "your bank has advised us that you check was returned for non payment" After relieved this two notice from Maria duval then I called bank and bank indicate these two check number was not found from my bank account and also nobody cashed anything yetI do know I did not write out these two checks for"[redacted] " and"[redacted]" and I consider Maria duval is making up the whole story and I do have both copy of letter that she write and I can provide the document if you need, please help me to take care of problemThanks very very much for your helps and assistanceMy hope is Maria Duval will stop to press and ask us for these two billing issue. This company continues to solicit my elderly [redacted] for money.The letters that are being sent to my [redacted] promise that my [redacted] will become rich. My [redacted] is continuing to receive letters from the Destiny Research Center.My [redacted] is cognitively delayed and believes that this is true.I recently found out that he has been sending this company money from his [redacted] check. I want this business to stop contacting me and trying to collect $45. I sent money to Maria Duval after getting her letters. Her letters promised I would get money ($7777) if I paid the fees. I sent 2 checks, then I changed my checking account number after I learned this was a scam. Maria Duval is sending me letters saying my 3rd check bounced. They keep writing me trying to collect the 3rd check amount. I no longer want this "service". I want them to stop contacting me. I wold also like a refund of the $90 they took from me. This woman and her so called company Destiny Research, has scammed me as well as my wife for hundreds of dollars. I am filing this complaint with the help of my niece, [redacted] as we do not have a computer or understand internet. We were contact approximately 3 years ago by Ms Duval via mail promising us everything from money to jewelry. She claims to be a psychic with all kinds of degrees and fame. Each time the letter was personaly generated to myself or my wife asking private information which we unknowingly gave her. She has gone as far as to have a computer generated letter written in greek (because she found out we were greek) to support her authenticity. Each time she has requested $45.00 for her services. Until my niece looked into the business, we were innocent believers. She has scammed us for hundreds of dollars, promising us money (as we are on a limited income) and extra money would be helpful.
