I don't understand the confusion when the address , contact number and 50th anniversary is on the contract. My mother spoke to Mr*** and told him not to confuse the location with the one on divisionMy brother spoke to someone at 7:and they said they were at the wrong location and were on there way. We waited and they never showed up. Finally the group shows up at 1045pm unacceptable time since we had also hired a band and the event is over at 1145. The band we hired made contact with me upon arrival and got paid before performingWhen they arrived at the wrong location they should have made contact with someone and realized they were not at a 50th anniversary partyThe event was on June 28th , today is July 21stWe still have not received our deposit back we can not have a do-over this was once in a lifetime event for usHe could at least return our deposit
We contacted the client during the week, she was asked if the location was the Pan American Ballroom on Division. Her answer was yes, therefore on Saturday the Mariachi group arrived at the Pan American Ballroom on Division road. As the group begins to play, I (GR) am receiving calls from the...
son of the celebrating couple. He informs me they are not there (PAN AM) and I attempt to contact my group. Unfortunately they are playing at the wrong location at this time and do not answer the call. Although the location was in the vicinity, they were on a schedule and assumed they were at the correct location. By the time they finish at (Pan American), they head to their next performance, during this time Im attempting to resolve the issue, and ask if they can perform at a later time. The son of the celebrating couple, says yes, as my group finishes up their last performance, myself and another gentlemen made numerous attempts to reach the gentlemen I spoke with. Even after he agreed to showing up later, my group arrives and were told it was too late to perform.
I made the attempt to call the client first thing Monday morning, to insure her the deposit would be refunded. I also have to pay my group for performing at the wrong location. It was a misunderstanding due to two locations with similar names. Information was misleading and agreements were broken, but nevertheless we attempted to recover the performance. I am asking for two weeks to refund the deposit.
