Dear [redacted],
We take great pride in our restaurant and in the quality of service we provide. [redacted] has been an exemplary employee for over 20 year. I truly apologize that...
we did not meet or exceed Ms. [redacted] expectations. It is no like [redacted] to be rude or off putting to anyone. It is our mission to exceed all guest expectations.
I have written a letter to Ms. [redacted] along with a refund of her $27.03.
My hope is that Ms. [redacted] will revisit our store, so we may have the opportunity to redeem ourselves. We are and continue to be a favorite in the neighborhood and it saddens me to think we failed to treat a guest properly. As a franchise store we are family owned and have been since 1972.
I have spoken with [redacted] and she has asked me to extend her greatest apology to Ms. [redacted].
Sincerely,
[redacted]
General Manager/Partner
I spoke with Mr. [redacted]y I also sent him a gift certificate.
We are currently rerunning the 44 Kids Eat Free Promotion" and I appreciate your time and speaking
with me about this matter.
Sincerely,

Review: Hello, I was not happy with my waitress named [redacted] P by her rude, unfriendly, behavior to me during my entire visit.
I'am a very ill senior citizen and I visited with my grand daughter Marie Calender's Restaurant restaurant number: 38 with the address: 12489 Seal Beach Blvd. Seal Beach, CA 90740 on 6/18/14 at 12:10pm. My waitress was named [redacted] P and ever since we sat down she was not friendly. She did not explain the menu or meal specials at all after not being customers there for many years, she did not give us a lemon to our waters when we asked before hand. She was not attentive to what she was doing, but extremely rude. She did not bring us an extra plate when we specifically said we needed one with our order when she wrote down the order. We kept repeatedly asking for things, and I never even got an extra plate with my meal. Also, I asked her "if tips were included in the bill" she meanly said "no they are not." She gave us the bill and rudely in a tone said "here is our suggested gratuity chart with how you are supposed to pay." which was just forcefully rude in forcing me how to pay. I was a friendly customer with my grand daughter, but I did not get proper treatment. I paid a total of $27.03 in cash for horrible service.Desired Settlement: My order cost me $24.28 I gave [redacted] P $2.75 in tips so in total I gave her $27.03. I would appreciate a full refund check of $27.03 for my rude non-proper treatment at that location with extremely horrible service.

Review: This company advertises that "Kids Eat Free" on Tuesdays and Saturdays and that a slice of pie comes with the kids meal. My family and I were at this restaurant last night (Tuesday) and the promotions mentioned above were not honored. I was finally told by the manager, [redacted], that promotion was an old promotion but they will give me a discount. This is a perfect example of a "bait and switch". This company is advertising promotions and prices but when you get to the restaurant, that's not the case. How many families have they overcharged by not honoring the advertised promotion?Desired Settlement: I want them to honor the promotions/prices they advertise. Stop using the "bait and switch" technique to get people in your restaurant.
