Don't do it. I rented here for 7 months and had 2 units. One day I go there and there is a red lock on one of the units. My payments were up to date, so I call the property manager and she tells me to look at the other unit I rent. There were some small dents on the door that anyone backing their vehicle or maybe someone dropping something on the door could have caused. She then tries to get me to confess to damaging the door. I told her if she has video or proof that I caused the damage I will reimburse accordingly. She refuses to show me any video and then says she will call the police to file charges and to get off the property.
I was not about to leave the property with all my belongings still in my unit. So I call police and they come out to the property and call to inform the property manager that she can't file charges and damage to the door was a civil matter. So the police give me a few options
