I received your letter regarding the complaint from a previous YMCA member regarding a refundThe YMCA did mistakenly draft the account in November and immediately provided a refund and again in DecemberThe concerned member first contacted the YMCA on the morning of December 28, regarding the December draftShe called back a few more times that morning and early afternoonThe YMCA Membership Director returned the phone call later in the afternoon when she arrived at work to respond to the concern and a refund check was processed and available for piby 9am on December 29thThe check was mailed later that day per the request of the individualThe YMCA did not intentionally draft the cancelled membership and resolved the issue promptly, within hoursWe apologized to the individual for any inconvenience this caused

In addition, when I called the lady complained that she worked 6 days a week and we needed to deal with it and hung up the phone while I was talking to her. She was very unprofessional. I want her poor customer service put in her work file.

I received your letter regarding the complaint from a previous YMCA member regarding a refund. The YMCA did mistakenly draft the account in November and immediately provided a refund and again in December. The concerned member first contacted the YMCA on the morning of December 28, 2016 regarding the December draft. She called back a few more times that morning and early afternoon. The YMCA Membership Director returned the phone call later in the afternoon when she arrived at work to respond to the concern and a refund check was processed and available for pick-up by 9am on December 29th. The check was mailed later that day per the request of the individual. The YMCA did not intentionally draft the cancelled membership and resolved the issue promptly, within 24 hours. We apologized to the individual for any inconvenience this caused.
