This place is more suited to being a large morgue! Terrible place!

My husband was sent "as Emergency" by VA doctor to hospital and had to be in a wheel chair because his condition was vital. Rolled him to the front desk and nurse's first words were "WE HAVE NO BEDS" before she even welcomed us. I explained he was sent stat from VA and she argued with me and stated that he had to wait his turn. Finally a nurse took his vitals and sent him to the nurse practitioner (Very nice). He was so dehydrated it was "drying his kidneys and he needed oxygen. He tested positive also for covid. Why is this called an ER if they don't care to assist an emergency patient and have attitudes like this? I am very dissatisfied with this hospital because the front desk has no professionalism at all!

Have been to emergency room 2x in the last 6 months with my Husband. First time he couldn't urinate. Desk was very very unprofessional, loudly stated that it will take 2 hours at least for an exam. He was ready to explode. Asked them to call Belpre ER. She stated she had no idea what the number was. She finally looked it up and loudly said how rude they were. A PROFESSIONAL lady was sitting beside her and called so I could take him to Belpre. In Belpre we had much better treatment however they inserted the wrong cath and it was painful and bled for a week before it was taken out.

In response to the above customer concern, I have reviewed the patient’s account and do not find the patient was double billed. The patient was seen in the physician’s office for an office visit on 6/1/15. Her total charge was $82.00. Since she does
not have health insurance, we discounted the fee by 50% so the balance due is $41.00. I have called and left a message for the patient’s mother to contact me so we can resolve the issue to her satisfaction Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.Sincerely,*** ***Revenue Cycle Supervisor***
