February 6, Dear *** ***,*** brought his *** *** into Marietta Motors, Dec 22nd The complaints expressed by him, (concerning the vehicle) were:Hard Start, Long Crank, and Check Engine Light OnThe vehicle was brought into the shop for diagnosing and it was
determined it needed a high pressure fuel pump.(please see info provided) The phone number *** provided was called and an estimate given of $Broken down, this was $to check, $for parts, $labor and possibly extra for fuel fittings and tax.It was agreed that Marietta Motors proceed with the repairsParts were ordered and came in the following day but, unfortunately the incorrect parts were received*** was told about the incorrect parts and was given the option to have Marietta Motors reorder the parts for the Tuesday after Christmas as this would have been the next working day.He said no, he would pick up the vehicle.He arrived at the shop at 5:Friday evening, Dec23rd and refused to pay the bill for the diagnostic time, as previously he had been told, when given estimateAfter yelling at staff, he grabbed the keys from the counter and left, in the vehicle he had arrived inThe car, in this dispute, was blocked by a larger vehicle*** arrived back at the shop, with another person, and got in serviced vehicle and forced it over a curb and leftLocal police department was notified and Officer *** stated he would go speak with ***Tuesday the 27th, there was check in the mail slot for the amount billed, $which was deposited Friday the 30thJanuary 5th we received notice from our bank that *** had stopped payment on the checkThe police department was again notified and again agreed to speak with himJanuary 18th he came into the shop and using a credit card, paid the full amount including the $bank charge, and we expressed appreciation for his taking care of this matter.Respectfully submitted,JElvin H*** Pres
