I had a great experience with Marin Hardscapes to replace my driveway and install french drains, a lawn and sprinkler system and a sump pump I had serious drainage issues and their expertise was very valuable, as there were no simple solutions to my problemI had an extremely difficult time finding a contractor in Marin who would even return my calls requesting a quote It seems that in Marin, if your job isn't $50k+, contractors don't want your businessI found Marin Hardscapes to be extremely responsive - *** answered every time I called and he checked his emails multiple times a day He scheduled the job quickly and it came in on time and on budget

We hired *** *** construction after interviewing about companies, including the bigger "*** ***" and "*** ***" companies to tear out the concrete around our pool and deck area and replace with paversOur project was in no means easy, we had limited access, a strange shaped pool, and many repairs done prior to our purchasing the home that made this project difficult
Price was important to us, but finding the right person was more importantWell, we lucked out*** *** not only had one of the lowest bids, but the owner walked us through the project upfront, pointed out things we had not even thought about, and we felt so good about a company where the actual contractor was the person giving the bidOther companies told us "no problem" but didn't even realize some of what they suggested was structurally impossible!
The end result is more than I could have asked for! The final price was exactly as bid, even though a few things along the way caused them extra work, and it looks even better than I ever imagined
The crew was clean, polite, and some of the hardest working men I've ever seenThe owner even bought them lunch every day! You could tell that the crew was well taken care of and loyal employee of the company, not just some guys hired out cheap by a big company looking to make a profit
*** *** was the last company we called out to bid the job, I am sure glad we kept trying to find the right guy! We had prices up to $49,for our project and *** *** was under $20,000...don't throw money around on a big name...get a good contractor!

Marin Hardscape installed a 70' retaining wall and about 1600 square feet of cobblestone pavers on my property. To accomplish this a signifiant amount of grading and drainage work was needed. Marin Hardscape was very easy to work with. They where responsive to my questions, concerns, and requested changes. Their pricing seemed fair, the staff was very knowledgable about how to perform their work, and they seem to own all the major equipment needed for the project. They were always on site on time and completed the project ahead of schedule. They also came back to address questions and make some minor changes after I they had been paid in full. I believe the quality of the work was excellent and a good value.

[redacted] and the Marin Hardscape team were fantastic from beginning to the end of our project. We wanted our front yard completely redone and have pavers put in for our driveway. [redacted] took my loose direction very well and came back to me with a detailed plan and quote that was budget friendly.
He and his crew showed up on time everyday and knocked the entire project out in just two weeks. Attention to detail was exceptional. They were meticulous about clean-up at the end of every day, as well. He provided regular updates and got back to my questions promptly.
It was a real pleasure working with him. I would recommend him without hesitation for any landscape/hardscape project.
