Marina Carpet

Review: I have ordered carpet on 8/**/13 and as of today, 9/*/13 have not received the carpeting nor am I able to ascertain from retailer when I may possibly expect to receive my carpeting. I have called four or five times to get an answer and I am told I will receive a return phone call and have not yet received one phone call.

My last call was on Thursday, 8/**/13. I was told my carpeting would ship to the store the week of 9/* but no one has been able to determine when the carpeting will actually arrive. I was told on Thursday, 8/**/13, that [redacted] would call me back, but as of today, 9/*/13, I have received no phone call.

I called again today and was told that the manager, [redacted], who I have also spoken to several times, was out and would be back within the hour and they will call me back. At this point, I feel I am being scammed. I have already paid $750.00 towards this merchandise.

GOOD MORNING ....CUSTOMER HAD EXPECTED THE CARPET TO BE INSTALLED IN A WEEK ....THE CARPET HAD A BACKORDER WHICH WAS MOVED ..I OFFERED HER TO COME RESELECT TO ANOTHER STYLE...SHE CHOSE NOT TO .....AS OF TODAY 9/*/13 ..SHE WAS GIVEN A CREDIT FOR A REFUND...........

Review: Upon giving my deposit, Marina Carpet gave me a receipt. On the sheet it stated "ABSOLUTE SATISFACTION GUARANTEE." If for any reason within 60 days after installation, you decide your carpet is not satisfactory, "MARINA WILL REPLACE IT FREE." Upon delivery of carpet, I told them I didn't like the carpet. It seemed it wasn't the same as I picked out in the store and said I didn't want it. [redacted] said he will work with me. I kept telling him I didn't want the carpet and kept calling him. After the 60 days expired, he said he cannot do anything for me. I want my money back of $1875 for the carpet under the term of the contract I signed.Desired Settlement: To receive my money back in full.

we installed her carpet in dec,2012.....when the carpet was being installed she insisted that an area in her hall was to be carpeted ...at that time I told her that she had told me her tile man was to tile that area..I was the person who actually did the measure at her house ......so what we did was put it in there for her with seams ......shortly after that she said we shipped her the wrong carpet ...she came into the store and we showed her that the sample and her order matched exact ........she never said she wanted it replaced just making sure she received the right style ........she then started to complain about the seams in the hall .....I told her it was because we did it with what we had at the time not ordering enough for there because it wasn't on the order .just the den was ......I told her for good faith I would change the hall but the dye lot might not be the same so I would check with the mill on dye lots ........time goes by ...now she has a flood in the den and calls me to help her out ....says she has no money .I told her to try to pull it back if she can ...she said she is just running a dehumidifier I go to her house to look because she said it smells ..I told her i'll do a relay for herfor $75 ...maybe i'll see if anyone will do it for less ...we had to pick up her carpet , put new padding and re-install ..we set up the appointment and my man goes there after work....when done she said she has no money ...really ..i'm doing it and now it cost me money ...I had to pay the installer and cost of padding .......she then starts with the 60 day satisfaction........i'm sorry at this time she is looking for something for free again .....I have done everything for her .I have been to her house numerous times to see what we can do for her .....

at this time I can't do anything for her ....I told her to call her insurance carrier for help but she will not ...she had a big claim already ......
