The [redacted] was bought brand newThere was a little over 17,miles on it when the problem startedThe [redacted] has been in the shop or the same issue of smelling something burning and having the car shut off as I'm driving on the highwayThey [redacted] will power off completely as I'm driving down the road

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowI have emails and text messages where marinas service manager acknowledges that there is an issueAlso per our original contract we agreed to pay dollars plus tax towards a car starterNEVER did we agree to have them put in a third party after market that sliced into our wire harness! Marina was to put in a factory starterMarina has acknowledge fault for it and offered to split the cost of putting in a whole new wire harness with Mitsubishi but Mitsubishi states that they won't due to the issue not being a manufacturer problem but a dealer problem because they paid someone to slice my wires and put the starter inRegards, *** ***

The bank contract through *** *** was flat canceledThe bank will not show a loan and nothing else should post to there credit etcAs well we did not request a refund of the $we should be refunded for there trade

Dear Customer, While we at Marina appreciate your frustration we have done everything in our power to assist you and make things wrightI have spoken with *** *** President who has also expressed that we have gone above and beyond by trading you out of the first vehicle and putting you in the brand new MitsubishiOur service department has done everything possible to get your vehicle to duplicate what you have claimed has been happening with the vehicle with no resultsThe vehicles computer which keeps track of any errors or codes that would appear based on your description of what has been happening shows nothingWe had referred you to Mitsubishi directly to look into your options for having the car fall under Lemon Law and they declined because we nor they can get the vehicle to do what you are saying is going onAs for the remote start we only installed what you had requested and agreed toWe would love to be able to diagnose and fix the issue you are having; however, we can not fix what we can not diagnosePlease bring back in vehicle when the issue reoccurs as soon as possible. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowI spoke with *** *** on the phone and she stated: Mr***'s response regarding the refund of our trade in money of $is incorrectAs I gave them the $on the 28th day of June when they returned my original vehicleThey insisted on the phone, just before they brought the car back to us, that I needed to pay them that $I paid them $cash and $in a check payable to Marina MitsubishiI was afraid of them, which is why I had the state police officer here when they brought the car backThe guy who originally sold me the car said he was *** ***, and his business card also said that, he said he was the finance managerHe said he was originally giving me $for my trade and said he was going to give the car to his nephew who just got his license. errorsHowever from time to time they both have inaccuracies and things that are just not reported or reported in the time frame before sale etc

Sorry for any delay in response been out of the store on vacation.Marina at no time has admitted faultWe at no time have done anything but try to assist in this processThe vehicle is under manufactures warranty and at no time has our service department or the manufacturer been able to duplicate the issueWe have gone above and beyond by purchasing them out of the first vehicle and putting them into the brand new MitsubishiI have discussed it with the owner and he is quite satisfied with our effortsWe will not be offering anything further at this timeIf the customer can get it to duplicate for the manufacture and they are willing to cover then at that time we will be happy to do anything the manufacture recommends and or will cover under warrantySincerely, *** ***General Sales Manager Marina Auto Group

Sorry but you are correct in your interpretation of what I meantIt is not stated any where that we would be installing a "Factory Remote Start" it says "Remote Start"The customer new what they were getting for the $chargedAs well we can not confirm any problems directly related to the installation of the remote start

We would have no problem refunding the pro-rated unused portion of the warranty per the contract. All that is needed is a copy of the mileage statement from the purchase when the vehicle was traded in and we can process the cancellation.  Please forward all information to me. Lucas R[redacted]...
