Marinello School of Cosmetology

Review: This complaint is a matter of discrimination, and, financial aid fraud and verbal slandering of students at Marinello School Of Beauty. My wife has severe depression, along with a developemental disability. I am reporting an unsafe environment, and unfair questionable practices at this School, for the simple fact that they used my wife along with other students who are afraid to speak up for the sole purpose of gaining financial profit from these students using financial aid. They are more concerned about money more than anything else. My wife has been attending that school for a month now and the service is quite not completely up to par with public school/federal regulation standards. I being a client was verbally put down by one of the faculty there named Ms. [redacted]. This woman has no educational teaching skills whatsoever. Instead of her mentoring my wife who has depression, and anxiety. this woman treated her like crap, kicking her out of the school every chance she could get because she clearly stated she did not have the tolerance to work with people who have learning disabilities. In doing so I had tried to resolve the issue by submitting a letter to their corporate which quote unquote did not make it to the corporate, or I e corporate doesn't care too much about the situation. But they are holding on to her financial aid, and had not offered to reimburse her back the funds not care to being that they did not earn it, nor taught her anything. The Main person is Ms. [redacted] who clearly does not know how to talk or treat people with respect but she demands it. I a customer who has had my kids hair done at this school was verbally and mentally shut down by this woman until I had spoken up to her. Instead of the school reprimanding her they get a few statements against my wife and I from a couple of the students and faculty there that witnessed part of the incident. Without hearing the customers side of the story or accepting my statement. they turn it over to corporate to have my wife expelle.Desired Settlement: I would like the school to refund all of my wife's financial aid, and pell grants, and offer her and I a written apology for the way they discriminated on my wife and I.
