Mariner & Associates, LLC Reviews (5)

According to the conversation I had with Kenneth on 4/7/16, Mariner & Associates, LLC is a legal entity that wanted me to contract with them to use their services to fight against a *** Group debt. I'm not sure how Mariner & Associates are affiliated with *** Group
The calls that my in-laws and I've been receiving are from Mariner & AssociatesFYI - I have never received a written notice from anyone about an outstanding debtHowever the calls to my in-laws threatening me with legal action continue

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:The response provided by the business, Allied Doors of North Florida, Inc., is factually incorrect and intentionally misleading in many respects, to wit:- When I first spoke to *** about the issue I was having with my garage door opener ("GDO"), she stated that the company would send a technician to my residence to "service" the GDO - which would either fix the problem or diagnose it - and that the cost for such "service" would be $95.00. I verbally agreed to pay for this "service" to my GDO because, as I mentioned to ***, I was selling my home and time was of the essence to get the problem fixed. I also told ***, during that same conversation, that the problematic GDO was for a foot garage door and that the GDO was obviously mounted to my garage door ceiling, which was approximately feet high. I specifically mentioned to *** that the technician would therefore need a tall ladder to access my GDO. The response provided by Allied Door confirms the company's knowledge of the dimensions and location of my garage door and GDO, as the company admits that it installed both the garage door and the GDO in 2006. Note: I did not own the property when Allied Doors installed the garage door and GDO in - When the Allied Door technician arrived at my residence, he did not bring a ladder with him that was tall enough to access my GDO. Moreover, at no time during the technician's brief visit, did he examine or inspect the GDO or the switch mounted to the wall which activates the GDO. Not once. Since the technician never even looked at the GDO, then Allied Door cannot reasonably claim that the technician "serviced" the GDO, which is what I had agreed to pay for.- The only action taken by the technician at my residence was to spray WD-or a similar type lubricant on the hinges and rollers of my garage door - which took less than a minute. I did not ask the technician to spray such lubricant, as there was absolutely nothing wrong with my garage door hinges or rollers. While at my residence, the technician also wrote down the model number of my GDO, which is visible from the ground. I don't know why the company did not already have the model number on file. After all, Allied Door installed the GDO in 2006. Regardless, writing down the model number of my GDO cannot reasonably be characterized as "servicing" my GDO. As I previously stated, the technician never touched, examined, or inspected my GDO.- Contrary to Allied Door's assertion, the technician did not do anything to the garage door track or to the tension spring. Nothing was wrong with either of such items and neither required even a second look.- Contrary to Allied Door's assertion, a technician came out to my residence only ONCE, not twice.- Contrary's to Allied Door's assertion, I was never rude to *** or to any other person at Allied Doors. I left several messages on Allied Door's voice mail expressing my displeasure with their broken promises, unreasonable delays, lack of communication, and repeated failures to return my phone calls, which messages are probably still on Allied Doors' voice mail system. I have no problem with Allied Doors releasing such messages to the Revdex.com, and I urge the Revdex.com to listen to such messages if doing so will aid in the resolution of this matter.- Several weeks after I filed my complaint against Allied Doors with the Revdex.com, I received a call from *** telling me that my replacement GDO had arrived. Note: This call from *** was approximately month AFTER I had left a message with Allied Doors stating that their grossly unreasonable delay in procuring and replacing my GDO had forced me to take alternative measures to remedy the problem. So at the time *** called me, Allied Doors already knew that I had fixed the problem and that their services were no longer needed. I believe ***'s call was a blatant ruse. I don't think Allied Doors ever intended to replace my GDO because I don't think Allied Doors ever intended to honor the $quote it gave me. I believe that is why Allied Doors strung me along for THREE MONTHS. Allied Doors knew that I was operating under a limited time frame time and that I would, sooner rather than later, have to take other measures. And Allied Doors was right about that. Their calculated scheme worked.- Finally, I wish to reiterate that Allied Doors never "serviced" my GDO as was promised by ***. My GDO was never examined. My GDO was never inspected. And my GDO was never diagnosed. I agreed to pay Allied Doors $to "service" my GDO. That didn't happen.Regards,
*** ***

Mr*** reached out to us to Service his garage doors and openers…We originally installed the doors and openers at ** *** *** *** in January of 2006I am assuming this is the address that Mr*** is referring too? We went out to Mr*** and fully serviced both doors and
openers…At the time of Service on November 2, both operators had been working and we completed what we call a full serviceCheck and Adjust the Track as needed, Check and adjust the tension springs as needed and complete lube the Rollers, Hinges, and Springs…Mr*** was aware that the he would be charged a $service fee when the appointment was set… I am going to Copy and Paste the notes out of the service order ON YOUR LOT BUILDER IN *** *** AND OTHER LOCATIONS OFF THE COST-*** 11/1/17-PLEASE GET ALL INFORMATION ON THE DOORS AND OPENERS, WHAT KIND THEY ARE, CUSTOMER HAS A 10XDOOR THAT WOULD NOT OPEN, HE TRIED OPENING IT WHILE ON THE PHONE WITH ME AND IT FINALLY OPENED, NEED TO GO SERVICE (1) 10XAND (1) 10X14,COULD BE A SPRING OR MAYBE A BELT IS BAD BUT THERE IS NO INFORMATION ON THE 10XOPENER, SO I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT WAS INSTALL IN 2006,THE 10XHAS A BELT DRIVE ON IT-**PLEASE CALL *** *** MINUTES BEFORE GOING OUT-** 11/3/17-10XAND 10X14,R-TRUSSES,DOORS,SHORT PANEL STRATFORDS,10XHAS A 8FT BELT,10XHAS A COMMERCIAL ATS 2113X CHAIN DRIVE OPENER,ALWAYS BRING TALL LADDER FOR THIS JOB,DOOR WORKED FINE,TOLD HIM TO REPLACE THE OPENER IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN-** The second time we went to Mr*** home we explained to the Customer over the phone that our Tech did NOT have a tall ladder on his truck, Mr*** offered our Tech to use his Ladder… Mr*** called back towards the middle of November and wanted us to order an opener to replace the Opener / Powerhead for the 10xGarage Door, We gave Mr*** his options and explained to him that the Opener he has is not a standard stock opener and that’s why the Powerhead is more expensive and is going to take a few weeks to come in… Mr*** seemed to understand this at the time and we told him as soon as we receive the new Powerhead we will contact him to schedule an appointment to replace it…We agreed to take the $Service Fee and apply it to the cost of the new opener is good business fashion… In no way did we breach a contract being that the set service fee is basic fee for our truck and Tech to leave our office and perform a standard service, IE adjust and lube the garage door… Most Companies would have charged the Customer the Service Fee and the Full price of the Parts and Labor… I personally Spoke with Mr*** and explained to him that the opener was on order and I apologized for how long it was taking but the parts had been ordered and during the holidays we are at the *** Companies mercy… Mr*** seemed to understand at the time… I do not know the exact date, but this was towards the end of December…We received the opener the 2nd week of January and called Mr*** to set up an appointment, at this time Mr*** was very rude To *** and said I do not want the opener… The next Day Mr*** called back and apologized to *** and demanded that she text him a picture that we actually had the opener here… In no way are we going to make every Customer 100% happy all though we try our hardest too, and hold ourselves to a higher standard then most when it comes to Customer Service…I would say that we have a very good reputation and that’s why we are able to be apart of the Revdex.com… Mr*** is a Customer that we never had the chance to please based on special order product…Mr*** has made the Statement that he is a ***, and we have to pay him back the $let me point out the fact that Mr*** agreed to pay the $before the Opener replacement was ever an issue or ever agreed on…

The reason why Mariner & Associates, LLC is listed is because when I picked Elite Payment it pops up as Elite Payment AKA as Mariner & Assocates, LLC so I took it that they were affiliated with each other. I did not know how to change it to where it just says Elite. If you
can instruct me on how to file the complaint just in reference to Elite, I will go back and change it. Please let me know if I need to do something else in reference to this complaint. Thank you
