8/31/2017:Marine Plumbing was asked to replace the hot and cold valves (twist on/off) with degree cut off valves behind the washing machineAlso, since the valves were being replaced, it would be easier to replace the existing box enclosure, (since it was stained/discolored from over the years-operational the box was in good shape) We purchased the parts for the degree cutoff valves and the same size box enclosure for the repairs to be done The technician stated on his initial inspection that some minor dry wall adjustment may have to be made just in case the box enclosure was a little bit different Cost estimate given was approximately $300-$if they had to buy the parts We stated we would get the parts; therefore, he stated the price would be approximately $ After the work was completed, (our bill came to $383.11) my wife called me at work and mentioned that they had destroyed our dry wall and made a mess of the installation - with a wide gapping hole (
