My biggest construction nightmare ever! I hired them to remodel my 7" x 5" bathroom. They took my $9,000,00 , worked few days and disappeared while leaving me, with an unfinished construction disaster, without a floor, without one wall and without any of the bathroom fixtures. I do not recommend this company to anybody. Marinka construction = omar manticoff = empty promises + aggravation + goodby to (your stolen) money

altered from the actual true occurrences This has been by far the most unstable and difficult client that I have dealt with in my 28 years in the construction industry As a starting note the consumer on the day of contract singing said to us that she is a complete nut case and that we would have to be patient and deal with her From the first day we starting working on the project which consisted of the remodeling of 2 bathrooms she complicated thing by demanding that we start work on the basement bathroom instead of the 1st floor bathroom witch was not the agreed plan... This type of changes that altered the normal day by day work that is done for a bathroom renovation continue throughout the time that we work at the house and extended the duration of the project the consumer continued this type of changes by demanding from us to install and do work that was not part of the contract at no additional cost to her and threatened to not pay us and throw us out of the house if we did not do as she said As of the first day the consumer started verbally insulting the workers on the job site and making racial comments to them, this verbal abuse continued every day for the entire duration of the project, furthermore this escalated to the point where the consumer assaulting one of the workers by throwing a sharp abject at the workers back, we had to calm the worker down and convince him not to call the police and have the consumer arrested for assault, she continued this form of behavior by calling our business and making verbal insults to our secretary and threats, saying such things as “QUOTE” you are fking with a crazy women, I will send someone to your home to take care of all of you/ I wish you and all your children dead, and many more comments like this Delays were caused by the consumer lack to make decisions and pick items and materials that she wanted installed and used in the bathroom remodeling work, this is what ultimately started the issue we had at the end, she had not picked the tile for the 1st floor bathroom and we requested her to do so, she picked tile that would take a couple weeks to attain, we offered to accommodate and order the tile and come back to finish the bathroom.. She refused and blamed us for this delay... Meanwhile at this point approx... three weeks had passed since we started the project and asked her to make her selections, the consumer proceeded to pick a tile from home depot that was a in stock item, we started installing the tile in the bathroom and she kept complaining she was not happy with the selection she made and still blamed us for this, after 95% of all floor and wall tile was installed she demanded that we install the wall tile floor to ceiling, this was not what was agreed upon and was not in the contract.. The contract specified very clearly that the wall tile will be installed mid-way on the walls, again in order to avoid further insults and problems with the consumer we agreed to remove the bull nose tile and tile all the walls up to the ceiling, the day after she called and said that she was not happy with the tile work and demanded we remove all the walls with tile throughout the entire bathroom and install new sheetrock with a new tile that she would select, we told her if that’s what she wanted we would again accommodate her and do so but she would need to pay for this additional work, she again started with her insults and threats, demanding we do this work with a new tile or she would ruin our company’s reputation by posting negative review all over the internet, we told her that we would not do the additional work without an additional charge and at this point the consumer said we would regret it and told us not to return to her h ouse and that we could not return for our tools.. We try to work it out with the consumer but she kept making the same demands Overall the consumer was trying to extort us by threatening to tarnish our reputation if we did not do additional work at no charge to her There is so much more that our men had to endure from this consumer such as 5 large pit bull dogs running around fighting with each other/ the consumer walking around all day smoking marijuana and drinking beer and offering both to our men, by the way my men never took beer from her refrigerator she offered it to them and they declined and the consumer was offended by this We can go on and on as for the impossible conditions this consumer made for us from the above comments We have emails, text messages, audio recordings, video recording and pictures as proof of all the above comments and will provide to Revdex.com if requested
