I was hired by Mr. [redacted] from Uno Bar on Malone Street to do electrical upgrades for a total of $4,973. Mr. [redacted] gave me a deposit of $2,500 which I then used to pay for the following: Permits $250, Load Analysis $150, Crane $360 and Wire $240. It was then determined that electrical repairs were...

not needed. Mr. [redacted] requested a full refund of his deposit. Normally deposits are not refundable but due to the financial situation he was in I agreed to refund the deposit minus the expenses already paid for. I refunded Mr. [redacted] $750 cash and explained he could pick up the remaining balance of $750 at my office. However Mr. [redacted] did not show up himself. Instead Mr. [redacted] was the one who came into the office to pick up the remaining balance. I had only been in contact with Mr. [redacted] a few days prior to him showing up at my office. Most of the business was handled between Mr. [redacted] and I. I was under the impression that Mr. [redacted] and Mr. [redacted] were business partners. I was not at the office at the time that he came in. My secretary informed me that Mr. [redacted] came in expecting a full refund of his $2500 deposit while explaining that he was the owner and not Mr. [redacted]. My secretary explained that I had already paid Mr. [redacted] $750 cash and that he would have to sign a document stating that after I paid him the remaining $750 there would be no remaining balance owed. He refused to sign the document and he also refused the money stating that he would like to speak to me. My secretary then called me and I spoke to Mr. [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] was very rude and loud stating that he would take nothing less than his $2500 deposit. I explained to him that it would not be a full refund due to the expenses already paid for. He then proceeded to become very irate and loud so I stated that he needed to leave the office or I would be calling the police. According to my secretary he then slammed the phone down and yelled that he would be making a report to the Revdex.com and taking me to court to seek his full refund and walked out.
